clay should win this one if the play with the same intensity as they did against valley and cut down the turnovers (by about 20) then they will win this easily. but they still have 2 play hard and smart. the crowd saturday was one of the largest in a couple years if the fans come out and support like that they panthers should gain alot more confidence and win games this year.

If Clay wants to stick with $5.00 for adults, thats fine, but hitting the kids up for $5.00 is hard to take. Students should be $2 or $3 tops. That's why you see very few kids at the games. The parents can't afford to let them attend girls and boys games, even with the discount the get by getting their tickets at school. My suggestion is drop student prices and let any student who participates in sports have a free pass to all other sport activities (Piketon does this and they had a lot of kids at their soccer games). Then once you get them in, they will buy drinks and food, since they have to eat anyway. But keeping the $5.00 admission on them you end up getting nothing at all. It's not Rocket Surgery for crying outside!
just my 2 1/2 cents

I agree. $5 for students in a little to much in my opinion. Most schools give the students a break on admission. I guess Clay has to pay for that new school somehow. lol

I've gone to many other schools this year, and all charged $5 for everyone. Me thinks the AD's all got together on this one. What the schools need is solid booster club backing with tried and true fund raising. That isn't as easy as it once was, but neither is teaching, and coaching the student/athlete. I fear the crowds will dwindle for the less successful schools faster than in the past.

I called...here is what I was told...

Free admission to all jr high/hs students with good grades/good discipline/good attendance. Something about a Panther Card

Bidy ball players get in free at all basketball games w/a paying adult.

Pre-sale to students: $3.00 (girls and boys basketball)

Senior citizens in district: FREE

Staff/Volunteers/Coaches/etc.: FREE

Season Pass: $40.00 (you save $10, 10 home games minus 2 games)

Admission otherwise: $5.00 (boys and girls basketball)

Admission to junior high events $3 (adults) and $2 (students); soccer and volleyball $4; softball and baseball $3 (adults) and $2 (students). These prices are lower than what other schools are charging for junior high events.

Money from concession stand goes to boosters not to the school.

I almost forgot this...
School planned to have FREE admission for students to one boys and one girls game on each side of break. I believe they told me New Boston girls game earlier in the year and Eastern boys game (which was postponed). Not sure which games they have this planned for in Jan-Feb.

good luck cats.

I think $3.00 for adults and $1.00 for students.
you could fill the stands that way.

Clay wins this one. After watching Green the last 5 quarters, I honestly don't see a win on the schedule this year if they continue to play this way.
