Why should a player be punished for the way their team finishes in the league. Evidently some coaches didn't agree with your thinking.

If your talking about the girl from Wellston she did lead the league in scoring, and player of the yr in the past hasn't been based on where your team finishes in the league.

Girls Meigs vs Wellston (Davis 24 pts)

The Vinton County coach did the right thing by making his team pick up trash in the stands. Yes, they probably shouldn't have torn the sign down but Mr. Dixon did punish them for it.

Girls New Boston vs Wellston (Davis 20 pts)

How was there cheating? One ref from Ironton the other two from Ashland Ky. You must not have been at the game.

I agree that the refs were bad but it wasn't all one sided. The team or coach doesn't get to pick the refs. In the jv and varsity game one ref was from Ironton and the other two were from Ashland Ky so no home court advantage there. To Pol Pot when Wellston goes to Meigs i"m sure we'll get foul...

We also had two players foul out.

Once again our free show shooting cost us the game. Don't know what we can do to get better at this. I know the coach has them spend a lot of time on this. Believe it or not there could have been alot more than 51 fouls called on Meigs, that's the only way they could stop our guards driving to the b...

Yes the games are at the middle school.

Very good game tonight except for Wellston's free throw shooting. Pretty sure we were 17 for 36. That was the difference in the game. These girls are far from soft sportjunky and they played very hard tonight. Go get a win on Sat.

Not sure if NVY plays Athens Thursday, but if they do I'm rooting for NVY.

Sportjunky, Don't count Wellston out of the race for the tvc title. We have just as good a chance as you do( Athens), along with V.C or N.V.Y. These four teams are going to have close games against each other.

#2 and #3 are both very good teams and it's going to be a tough game for the rockets against Burg. Schmidts an athlete.

How did Fairland get the #6 seed and Wellston the #7 when Wellstons record is better and they defeated Fairland.
