Re: Minford Pee Wee Basketball Tournament
I have never seen pool play this way. Pool A 1 seed should play pool B 4th seed and so forth. I'm with one of the lower brackets so it really won't affect our team, but it looks to me the two best team will definately not meet in the championship game.

Re: LITTLE LEAGUE EXPERTS????
You can go to the little league website: littleleague.org and go to Central Region. I know they have some set up but I'm not sure where.

LITTLE LEAGUE EXPERTS????
I thought since the little league baseball/softball season is fast approaching that it would be helpful to have a forum where parents/coaches, ect. could ask questions and maybe someone out in SEOPS land could answer. Rules, regulations, waivers whatever could be asked and hopefully someone could he...

Re: St. Joe Basketball
Grass isn't always greener on the other side. If someone wanted to leave then they should go and if things are better then great, I wouldn't want to talk someone in to staying because that is "selfish". Let them go and RH basketball will be fine. I think people have coached their kids for ...

Re: Closed practices
There is no way they can do that. Little League is for all parents/coaches/kids. Call Williamsport. This board has a very big ego problem. I bet if all the parents got together and refused to have their girls play then matters would change pretty quickly. I wouldn't trust one person around a bunch o...

Well said "buckeye221" !! Burg needs to get over it!! They lost, it's not like it's over. Alot of teams come out of the losers bracket, didn't they do it last year? Just keep playing ball and see what happens. You got beat, get over it and move on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Boys 11-12 At Lucasville
Like I said earlier, the samething happenend last year at SP and Porstmouth's coach was suspended. It was the same situation, why should it be any different this year? I don't remember people having such a problem with it then, why now? Because Wheelersburg lost? or what? As said earlier, that is li...

Re: Little League Tourny Sites
Rock Hill is playing Fairland from what I'm told. I guess the winner would then play Wheelersburg.

Re: Boys 11-12 At Lucasville
This also happened at the 11-12 tournament last yr. at South Point. Portsmouth's coach did not get a kid their at bat and he also was suspended for two games but the team kept the win. I agree with not hurting the kids. SP played their hearts out and so did Wheelersburg. It was a great game to watch...

Re: District 11 LL tourney at Ironton
Could someone tell me why that if the state tournament does not start until July 18, that the district is rushing the 11-12 girls tournament to be done on July 3rd? Why would a team have to play two games in one day, I just don't get it. That is not fair to any team. I have been involve with all-sta...

Re: Brawling in the dugout?
to SENDEM: i would just like to say that most umpires who umpire little league games are just parents who volunteer their time. No they haven't had all the training you seem to have had or did regional tournaments or are some great umpires from above---they just volunteer their time, please people g...

Re: Brawling in the dugout?
I'm pretty sure both parties involved would agree that their actions were uncalled for and wish they had to do it over again. I for one have learned by watching peoples reactions and listening to people "run their mouths" from the sidelines. They embaress those around them, their families ...

Re: Brawling in the dugout?
I know there was a fight but didn't hear about a kid involved. I'm sure both are suspended. I'm sure the district person that was at Green was Donnie Rawlins and he seems to be everywhere doing the same to all leagues. He is like everyone else, just trying to do his job all as a volunteer and like a...

Re: little league
I would like to thank those who put the "fun day" together. All the work and the kids had fun and I hope the money raised helps rhll. Rock Hill has the same issues as everyone else, people just want to talk more about it~~ haha Let the kids just play ball and enjoy the year.
