Waverly played very well last night. They were much more balanced instead of the one-dimensional play they had Saturday. They are definitely coming together as team at the right time.

At the first scrimmage, Waverly did beat them the first 3 out of 5 games with one middle hitter out. Then lost the next 3 when the other middle hitter left.

The second scrimmage Waverly won 2 out 3.

Well said bron99! Don't know why it's necessary to down grade Waverlys success. It's nice to see another Southern Ohio team doing well.

The player did not make up his work in summer school. He only attended one session. It is an OHSAA violation. The other player did make up his time in summer shcool. It is unfortunate the team has to pay the price for this player. The AD should have been on top of this. It is correct to say the team...

Will Barlow a former Waverly soccer player was injuried in a car accident Sunday January 11th. He is in critical condition with head injuries. Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

It is not some rec league at the Y or Triple Crown or even Jr High. That is why they need a coach from the outside with experience and education at a higher level if Waverly wants to grow their program.

I agree GoIrish34! Someone from the outside with a higher level of coaching experience is just what the Waverly program needs.

I hope everyone who is interested apply for the job. Last spring only one person applied so the board had no choices. The program could benefit from someone new with coaching experience at a higher level.
