Re: Eastern (24-1) vs Newark Catholic (25-2)
[quote="newlex/sheridan"]This was a great game to watch. I'm a Sheridan graduate (the school Parkinson was poached from after her freshman year lol) she is a terrific player. What is your comment to this NewarkCatholicFan? Parkinson played last year also after transferring following her fr...

Re: Eastern (24-1) vs Newark Catholic (25-2)
Last year Eastern won and I heard no crying about recruiting or playing a private school. If N.C. wins I hope to see the same class this time around. I really hope this is the case unlike the fans of another school from this area I likem, but have lost most respect for as far as their fans goes, wh...

Re: TVC Hocking
Eastern returns senior setter Ally Hendrix and juniors Maddie Rigsby, Erin Swatzel and Jordan Parker. With the addition of 6 ft junior Katie Keller, they look to be taking up where last years team left off. Things are looking bright for Eastern Eagle Volleyball!

Re: Peebles vs Oak Hill
Historically, public schools are not exceptionally good year in and year out over long periods of time. There is usually a "great class" of athletes once in several years and then there are some "lean" years. It seems to go in cycles. In Ohio, a child must "open" enroll...

Re: Jan 27 - Fed Hock (6-6, 5-4) @ Eastern (4-6, 2-6)
Now we have it. This coach is a better fit for the kids playing now! because most of them wouldn't play and don't like Howie. Howie knows talent and they don't have it thats why they didn't play for him because they don't want to work for it. grow-up 78, you don't know anything about these boys or ...

Re: South Gallia @ Eastern 12/12
Its not like Eastern was pressing. South Gallia was in a zone. Eastern was running there zone plays and it just so happened they were wide open every time. The difference between Waterford and Eastern is that Waterford presses the entire time and runs the score up on purpose. You are obviously a mo...

Re: Alexander @ Eastern
It seems that Eastern is surprising many. They play tough defense and as long as they hold other teams scoring down, they will continue to surprise. Good win at the nest tonight against Alex.

Re: Reedsville Eastern vs Manchester
Do like they do in a few other states, have a different league for private/charter schools and let them compete in their own state playoffs.

Eastern VS Meigs
Ok posters, tell me what you think of this. After the game tonight, Coach Wolfe wouldn't even shake the Eastern players hands. Is this how an adult responds to a loss?

Re: Jr. High basketball programs
Keep your eyes on Eastern Reedsville 8th grade girls. They have 5 girls that played AAU ball this summer and went undefeated last year. They are also going for an undefeated volleyball season tonight at Trimble.
