I hope you are wrong about that. What have you seen from this team yet (if you have seen them) that would suggest a one win team?TriStateFan1 wrote:When will the Tigers win their first game? According to their schedule, it looks as if they could only win 1 game in December

Re: 12/14 Eastern Brown @ (0-2) Ironton
Ironton lost all five starters from last year. They also had 7 seniors last year and have only one this year. Also this year all of the boys on varsity, except for 3 boys plays J.V. ball too. I guess you can say we are rebuilding this year.

Re: Ironton 2013-2014 Roster and Schedule
You make it sound like both teams played their starters the whole game until St. Joe subbed at the end and Ironton kept their starters in. That was not the case at all. Ironton rarely played all 5 starters together the whole game! Several times I looked over and saw 3 to 4 starters on the bench. I g...

Re: Ironton 2013-2014 Roster and Schedule
St. Joe has some nice shooters. I think they shot something like 80% the first half! Halftime score was 28-26 St. Joe. Ironton subbed in constantly trying to give everybody some experience. I think both teams will be competitive and win some games this year.

Re: IRONTON FOOTBALL 2013
 And people at Ironton continue to wonder about why OVC schools will not let them in the league.....when LL and Jr High is getting beat by local schools at an all-time high....it is obvious what keeps them at the top....transfers.....where is your QB from?.....and he beat them in JR High.... ...

Re: Macker Standouts
flapjack, every post you have ever made is about this kid. I really don't want to get into proving your identity but one post you made at the begining gives it all away. It's the one where you talk about having coached an upcoming transfer for St. Joe and they played point for you. That pretty much ...

Since the very first post that flapjack has made it's the same thing. I'm glad I'm not the only one that sees it!

Re: Holding back student atheletes for playing time?
Coach B What if you have a team that has a group of kids held back and a team who has 3 or 4 kids that failed a grade and 2 or 3 kids that started school late? One team stands out b/c they stayed back at once as opposed to gradually over time. Both teams have the same number of older kids playing. A...

Re: Flying bats at RH field
Well, I should have posted that there is circumstances around whether it was an accident (he was just swinging the bat and it slipped) or that he was ticked off and threw the bat out of rage. It depends on who you ask. I personally believe they should talk to the kids to find out what happened.

Flying bats at RH field
I am extremely curious as to why nobody has posted as to what happened the other day at the senior league practice. A coach (not for this team but for lots of other teams at RH) got ticked off.....threw a bat.......the bat goes through the dugout hitting a player in the head.......resulting in 14 st...

Re: DATECHANGE YouthClassic tourn.Feb23-march1boys&girls4th.-6th
Why do you feel as if you need a pm to explain anything? You can tell that you're new to this. Nobody enters any of these tournaments because they want to benefit a cause. They enter these tournaments to win. Anybody can rent the gym and hold a tounament just the same as youngredmen. It's parents li...

Re: Holdbacks
What about the kids who are in their age appropriate classes that are playing sports? Are their rights to play sports with their "peers" being infringed upon? I know we're only talking about one or two years but this is a crucial time when age difference does matter. I can understand maybe...
