some changes have to happen for the vikes in the box and on the field for effective change to happen. best of luck to the 2009 team. it will be a long season for the young Vinton county team

i wasnt saying that VC cant beat ross county teams, i just thought it was intersting that literally all of our losses in the past three year have came solely from Ross county

Just an interesting tidbit of information but the only 4 losses that Vinton county has suffered since the 06-07 season has been at the hands of ross county teams, including chillictohe twice, who won the state championship last year. I agree that they will be down again this year unless something drastic changes within the program. as far as i know the schedule remains pretty much the same unless a non conference team dropped playing them. with hard work they might contend in the TVC

Id say both teams are gonna be ready tomorrow night. It just comes down to who executes. I have to say if the vikes guthrie and allen get the ball rollin its gonna be a long night for the spartans.

Hawkeye what is the VC schedule lookin like this season, as far as non-conference games?

Vinton County will be tough this year,but like hawkeye said the big factor in my opinion is Ethan Allen. The kid can jump like nobodys business. and with Little guthrie and Prater under the basket and Grillo bringin it up, they should repeat this year in the TVC IMO. 15-5 at worst.

I gotta agree with the Hawk on this one, VC will have to play flawless fundamental ball to compete this year. Havin Baby guthrie under the bucket will be a force to be reckoned with.

VC will struggle a little at the guard position but they still run the show in the TVC. Little Guthrie is back along with Allen and Prater. They will have a little trouble with Alex i think
