The Etta Express deserves a huge congrats after winning their 5th World series. They had one heck of a season only losing 4 games. Tough loss for Marietta. Great season though, made a good tournament run, played competitive soccer all the way through to the very end. Played much closer game in this round than usual and they have absolutely nothing to be ashamed of.

The thing that is different about this game compared to the rest in the tournament is these two teams know a lot about each other. I would venture to guess that Marietta did not know much about waverly or zane trace before they played them and probably the same for chillicothe going into a game agai...

Congrats to Marietta. Solid team nice to have momentum with these convincing wins as the games get tougher. Any news on the second game of the night yet?

Just shows the SEOAL dominance in soccer. But I'd say Marietta by at least two. But at this stage its not as easy even if you are the better team because everybody is going all out, nobody wants their season to end yet.

It sucks but there isn't a lot to do to change it unless you change the districts because in order to play at the higher seed somebody usually has to make a lengthy drive. Also heard somebody mention that they changed to Don Drum because of the amount of tournament games that are played on turf. Kind of keeps a similar playing field through the entire tournament.
