Re: WEEK 9: Gallia Academy(6-2 3-1) @ Warren (5-3 1-3)
I have to say Warren has had a chance in every game this year with this week being no exception. No one but Warren fans gave us a chance last week, yet Warren pulled off their best game of the year and upset Chili. However I think it will take another exceptional game against Gallia in order to win....

Re: Week 3 Warren @ Athens
Great heart by both teams. Athens has some great skill players and controlled the line of scrimmage. But Warren gave Leffingwell lots of time to throw the ball, and for a sophomore, the kid is really good. I saw him hit a couple "deep" passes so I'm not sure what A-Town is talking about t...

Re: Week 3 Warren @ Athens
Great game. Fans for both schools should be proud of their boys. Quite a fight last night. Absolutely. Very proud of the young men in green and gold. This team is getting better every week, and although it is never fun to lose games, I have a feeling they are going to be glad these tough first few ...

Re: Week 1 Player of the Week Nominations
i have to submit warren's offence line for player of the week. They blocked for 344 yards rushing & 76 passing. They only punted the ball one time during the entire game. Most impressive was the blocking, every play they were blocking 5-10 yards down the field. Warren had 5+ rushers with impress...

Re: WK 1 Belpre Eagle at Warren Warriors
I doubt it will be anything like last year’s game, Belpre was missing a lot of key players when the season started. However Warren is returning a huge O-line with a lot of senior leadership and has probably the most balanced offence I have seen in awhile. If the 7 on 7’s are any indication to th...

Re: Thoughts on Warren Football Season
There are new photos on the facebook page from the youth football camp today. They are some great pictures of the players and the kids. The pictures were taken by No Limits Images-K. Detlor. They were great shots and fun to look at, Thank You.

Re: Thoughts on Warren Football Season
Unfortunately I was unable to go to the 7 on 7 passing tournaments, however I wish I had taken the time and made it happen. As a parent of one of the Varsity Seniors I got the call telling me they were Co-champions and they had went 10-0 in the two days worth of tournaments. Now my son does not get ...

Re: Thoughts on Warren Football Season
I am trying to learn how to ignore what people say. There are just times I can’t seem to do it. This is one of those times. I just happen to have a DNA revo helmet, and a Varsity helmet from last season sitting around. The varsity helmet was used buy a player and has all pads in it, a chin strap ...

No not all of them, one is around 300 a couple are around 250 and one is around 200. Of course I haven't seen them for a few months so they may be up or down a little.

Re: Thoughts on Warren Football Season
Warren is returning 4 of their offense linemen from last year, Hendrix, Timberman, Lang and Greathouse. Three of the four are seniors this year and the four of them weigh in at about 1000 lbs. So the Warriors will have size and strength returning for the O-line. Also Hendrix and Timberman will be th...

Re: Thoughts on Warren Football Season
I heard there was over 100 also that have signed up also. The difference this year is the amount of kids in the weight room. I was told that the weight room is full at night. My son said there are probably 50 kids lifting right now. And this does not include next year’s Freshman class. That’s pr...

Re: Thoughts on Warren Football Season
I don’t believe we have the speed to run the spread. But according to Coach Schob’s interview he was not set in bringing the spread to Warren. Right now the kids are doing well in the Wing T and I hope that they do not change it. And yes we are very big up front, I say the O-line will weigh in a...

I only heard one other and from what my son said the assistant coach is Belpre's old head coach. Of course that is what I was told, so I could not say for sure.

Re: Warren Local Hires Andy Schob as Head FB Coach
So far so good, my son really likes Coach Schob, but he really has connected with his son Jason. It’s hasn’t been one week since he met the players and I’ve seen more interest in my son then I have since last summer. He wants to spend more time lifting and running and getting ready. They reall...

Re: Vincent Warren Local Football 2010
My son was one of the starting O-Line this year for Warren and will be one of the seniors next year. He has already started his after school lifting and running to be ready for next year. I made the mistake of asking him to do something after school tonight and you would have thought I grounded him ...

Well I have to say I'm glad they brought back the rival game the last week. You couldn't end the year with a better game then the Marrietta vs Warren game. Here is Warren's 2010 schedule according to the school's web site. 08/27/10 BELPRE 7:30PM Fri 09/03/10 MORGAN 7:30PM Fri 09/10/10 @ ATHENS 7:30P...

Re: 7-0 Logan at 6-1 Warren
I just want to say all our thoughts and prayers are with Coach Pifer and his family. I think all the players are glad to be home for rest of the year. The one thing Warren has done for the last two years is play their best games at home, and trust me playing Logan you will need your best game. I agr...

Re: Warren Warrior Football: Winning Season
I really do think the turning point was the development of the Youth League. That and the fact that we have actually had a head football coach stay with the program for more than 1-2 years. The boys out there today have been playing football together for around 8 years now. There is a lot of praise ...

Re: WK6 (5-0) Warren @ (1-4) Meigs
That is what we thought. If they didn’t want to call a penalty on it, the least they could have done was go over and wipe the ball off. He was told that he wasn’t allowed to do that again. But it should have never been allowed to happen in the first place. The ball was already wet and hard enoug...
