Re: Coaching Openings?
Any names for the Jackson head coach since Don left? I also heard Minford is looking for a new coach. Any names floating around for that position?

Re: Disgusted with LL
This is a dedicated group of girls that love ball and only went to the local tournaments. They did not travel out of Scioto Co. It was only for experience and teaching. All the girls knew what great teams they would face but still wanted to play! They love the game and only want to get better. So pr...

Little League pitching
My granddaughter pitches in the 11-12 yr old LL. She is the only pitcher on the team. What is the rule on how many innings per week she can pitch? They said 18 innings per week and that just sounds like alot to me. Thanks in advance for any input.

Re: Southern Ohio Junior High Softball League Scores
It was a great game to watch. Both teams played a great game. My question is if the game is stopped d/t weather before the inning ends doesn't it revert back to the previous full inning played? At the end of the 5th inning it was 2-2. So wouldn't that be a tie?

Re: 9-10 softball all-star tournament at coal grove
Is it legal to pick up a child that wasn't on the all-star roster to play in the fifth game of the tournament because you don't have enough girls to play?

Re: Boys 11-12 At Lucasville
The game was a mercy, but if you can't get all your kids in then you need to shorten your roster. Each kid comes to the game expecting to bat thats the rule. I don't know why she didn't get them into bat because each one started the game.

But rules are rules. Why is the punishment any different? It says each kid has to bat.

Re: Boys 11-12 At Lucasville
If each kid has to bat each time then why wasn't the manager of this team suspended like the SP coach? The officials were told she didn't bat all her players. Is there a difference if you win? Win or lose play by the same rules!

Re: Boys 11-12 At Lucasville
I hate to dig up a dead horse but I have a question on the mandatory play time. Is this every child on the roster has to play 6 consecutive outs and one at bat or just the subs? My granddaughter played at Coal Grove today, I know we lost, but we had two girls that didn't get to bat, they did started...

Thanks. I have another question. If the catcher drops the ball on third strike can the runner run to first base?

I'm sorry I thought they was talking about not getting enough games in the regular season to be eligible for all-stars.

Re: Boys 11-12 At Lucasville
This happened at Minford also. The 11-12 year old girls softball team only played 5 games this year but the president fixed the papers so they could play all-stars.

I really don't think the coach done this because of her father. She is just a good hitter.

Re: What "team" walks a 12yr old 4 straight times????
I should have said her father was a coach that was great with the girls, was there to teach the girls and to build a program for Minford High School. I feel he was done wrong by Minford Little League.

Re: minford little league
I was privileged to watch the daughter of the banned Minford coach be intentionally walked this week. I think this says something for her fathers coaching.

I was privileged to see a 10yr old from Minford walked this week intentionally since her father was banned for life from the league last week.
