Re: Wednesday, May 16 scores
Congrats Gallia, way to represent the SEOAL.
Re: Homeruns
I agree with trojan that wellston has a good team and hit the ball well against the lady trojans. The field did seem a little small like jackson. Anything under 200 is considered below average for high school and colleges in my opinion. I talked with the father of the young lady that hit 2 against u...
Re: Homeruns
With the 2 home runs tonight, this team moves into 16th best all time for a single season in home runs. They have a chance to move up the list on Friday. Great Job by this group of young ladies. Portsmouth 19 Portsmouth's Gabbie Guthrie and Kacey Simpson both homered tonight in their sectional semi-...

Re: SOUTHEAST ALL-DISTRICT FOOTBALL TEAM D4
I'm happy for the kids that made the team for the Trojans. Would liked to have seen more players on 1st team, but you need to win more for that to happen. Good Luck to those Sr on the list and Mason will be a fine QB for the Trojans next year. I do think Brennan Howard should have been on this team ...

Re: WEEK 8 - PORTSMOUTH (3-4,2-2) VS GALLIA ACADEMY(5-2,2-1)
i doubt you can get in at 5-5 it has been done though thats a reach. where do they sit now? At 5-5 the trojans are for sure in the playoffs. Believe it or not they could actually get in at 4-6 if things fell the right way. Beat Gallia, Logan, or Ironton and at 6-4 they may have a home playoff game....

Re: SEOAL: Portsmouth 2-4 @ Marietta 2-4
biggdowgg i agree 100% he did a heck of a job blocking. I would have like to see him get a run or two for his efforts. I made a point to go and tell the young man nice job after the game. He didn't look nervous at all. He will be a good one before he's done.

Re: WEEK 8 - PORTSMOUTH (3-4,2-2) VS GALLIA ACADEMY(5-2,2-1)
Gallipolis still takes this game--even if Myers plays--it just will not be a blowout Myers is a big difference maker over his last 13 starts this team avg over 30 points a game. Without him as the QB our avg is around 14. If Myers plays the Trojans will keep their playoff hopes alive with a win. If...

Re: SEOAL: Portsmouth 2-4 @ Marietta 2-4
trojandave you are correct about our OL and DL play the are not firing out instead they are standing up and cathching everyone. I've been very disappointed in that part of this Trojan team because running the ball and stopping the ball are all about attitude. On the bright side Andrew Gulley has pla...

Re: Week 5 - Portsmouth(2-2) vs. Chillicothe(0-4)
Mason played well for the Trojans this week but make no bones about it Myers still gives us our best shot a winning. I hope the coaches realize that if you have balance with this talent you don't have to run Myers 26 times a game. Gulley is a very good back that could get us a 100 yrd any given nigh...

LADY TROJANS GET THIER FIRST
Congrat to the lady trojans on thier first win of the season 25-4,25-6 over Boyd Co. Ky. The season has had some struggles thus far but the ladies have continued to compete. There were several very good performances for the trojans. The serving of Rollins and Kasey Simpson was on point. The front li...

Re: Best S.E.O.A.L team so far
This question shouldn't even be ask at this point. League play starts tomorrow and then this thread can be talked about. You can't go by non conference records at this point, because some have played very difficult non league games. And some have padded the stats and records with a cupcake schedule....

hardrock21 and sportsfan; Relax; weather you take it as disrespect or not all trojanofthepast was saying the boys on last years team did take it that way. Then they handled their business on the field. This years is a new year and as I said before both teams have very good athletes on offense. But, ...

Re: Week 4: Portsmouth (1-2) vs Warren (3-0) (SEOAL)
The difference in last years game was Warren struggled with the Trojans speed. The Trojans will score plenty, the question is will the Defense be able to stop a very good Warren offense.
P.S. DON'T DANCE ON THE TROJAN HEAD!
