OHSAA mandates that sectional finals be split sessions. The schools have no control over it. THey are forced to split the sessions.

We all get caught up in winning and losing and jawwing back and forth. These are all part of the game and how fans interact. I read this article and it really made me think about what high school athletics are all about. This story really touched me and I hope everyone gets to read it.

RV was down 16 with around 4 min to go in the 3rd quarter. Cody Smith, a sophomore, nailed a three as time went out for the win. Great Game!

Doesnt really help your team other than filling a hole in the schedule with a team that is close to home. I think that is why some of the teams around here play them.

I have seen Copley and Kratzenburg both a couple times this year and have seen Harris play a handful of times over the years. For the record, #24 is probably the best 3 point shooter in southeastern Ohio. So him "throwing" them up probably didnt happen. It is amazing you are bashing a team that beat by 20. Sloppy or not that is a beat down. Maybe Southern played poorly as well.

Alot of schools around dont allow administrators to coach. As for parents, thats not a valid point IMO. What happens if a coach is at a school for 10 years and boom, his son is a freshman in that program. Does he then I have to move schools or take 4 years off? That rule is not a good one.

I think Triplett has to be considered the best coach at RV. If you look at some of the scores from the 3-7 and 4-6 or whatever years, many of those losses were by close margins. He beat Logan, and also was the only coach at RV to beat "the Academy". As for best ever in Gallia County, I wou...
