Re: Piketon 09-10

Bum is not only great for Piketon Baseball, but he is great for baseball in Southern Ohio. Have had a chance to be around him quite a bit and he is in the game for the right reason. Clay won 12-10. Western had them on the ropes and just couldn't finish.

Re: Best Field SOC I and Southeast District D4

I believe Whiteoak is by far the best field in D4. Not a big fan of only having cutouts around the bases, but they keep it in great shape.

I would go with Southeastern here. Nelsonville has nice pitching, but I don't think NY has faced anyone like the Osborne kid. He is very good.

Re: Records of Division 4 teams in Southeast District

I have to believe that PV got an easier first round game than St. Joe. I have seen Notre Dame play and they are an average hitting team. Will be interesting come districts seeing some possible rematches of last years tourney. Good Luck to all the teams.

Re: Records of Division 4 teams in Southeast District

Yes PV lost to NY 4-2 in the back end of a double header, yes they were playing several JV kids and throwing there 4 and 5 pitchers, but a loss is a loss. I just think that you have to consider playing teams like Adena, ZT, Westfall, Unioto, Huntington night in and night out shows alot about a team....

Re: Records of Division 4 teams in Southeast District

Flying Dutchman, please tell me ur not serious. Do you honestly believe SJ is the #1? Who have they played? How often do they play? PV has beaten much tougher teams this year and will have the same number of victories come draw time.
