Re: Oak Hill vs. Fairland
No, i was in no way calling everyone in Lawrence County a fool. Nice try tho, let's save the drama for the kids. There was another Lawrence county parent that couldn't just be pround of her kid, but sat on a message board telling the world how much better her kid was than everyone else. Be proud of ...

"it's better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt". Have a little couth people. It must be a Lawrence County thing is all i can figure. I'm interested to see when they do lose if the throwing of the rest of the team under the bus is subtle or all out.

Re: Ports. West vs. Fairland
They need to play the I hate rap! song at a game sometime...Sung by the late Curt Hennig and the West Texas rednecks..lol All kidding aside here, was someone actually thrown out because they didn't like the music that was being played? People need to explain exactly what happened before posting onl...

Re: Ports. West vs. Fairland
Jordan admits that he suggested that the two should “take this conversation outside.†He was then tossed from the game by officials and now might face a two-day mandatory training session — at a cost of $100 — from the Ohio High School Athletic Association and a two-game suspension. This was...

Re: Ports. West vs. Fairland
If a fan gets ejected, do they have to go to Columbus and take some sort of sportsmanship class and pay for it? I thought I read that when a parent got in to a verbal altercation with a score keeper over foul language in a song being played.

This is only what Ive heard, so if its not true its not my fault. But I hear its due to a lack of players and possible resignation of the coach. But thats just hearsay

Re: Alexander vs. Oak Hill - Regional Semi-Final
Congratulations to the Alexander Ladies on a fine season. You gave the Oaks a beeter game than people thought you would. And I agree as posted before, the sportsmanship was outstanding on both sides. The Oaks again proved they have many weapons and the younger Butler stepped up this week. Although I...

Re: Oak Hill vs. Adena-----District Championship
Good luck to the lady oaks. already sold out of tickets than it should be a packed house. Who are the Oaks leaders in assists, steals, turnovers, etc... im sure the lady oaks arent worried about whos leading in stats or anything. the only stat teams are worried about during this time of the year is...

Re: Mid-season POY SOC I - SOC II
Not always. They only beat Ironton by two, South Point by 6 i think, and St Joe by 15ish. Lets not forget the Sophmore Trio of Hale, Butler, and Caudill (who doesnt start BTW) have had big games as well and were leading scorers in different games. If youre going purely on stats, Cook hands down. It ...

Re: Congrats to Karissa Adkins for her 1000th point!
Personally I feel they shouldnt stop games. They didnt stop the game for JD Hale last year at Wheelersburg. Basketball is a TEAM sport and no player would have a 1000 points if it werent for countless assists. Thats why they have a banquet at the end is to present individual accomplishments. JMO se...

Re: South Webster @ Wheelersburg 12/14
I have never in my life seen a high school athlete hustle like Cook. There are a few other players in the SOCII if the had half Kaylas heart and hustle they would be a 1000 times better! She makes Pete Rose look like a slacker!!!! She need to quiting putting all the presure on herself and pass some ...

Re: Best Girls Teams of All- Time
We have never had even a decent team up here. But watch out for the Lady Oaks NEXT year. I personally feel they will be a much more rounded group. I dont think they really play as a whole right now. Or not as well as they could, anyway. JMO

Re: South Point Vs. Oak Hill
Please tell me there are actually more than two girls that get quality playing time that are from Oak Hill. I knew they had their share of transfers, but I assumed more than 2 regulars were from Oak Hill. Can someone from Oak Hill please clear this up. Thank you. Butler, butler, hale, adkins all bo...
