Re: NY Football Trivia - Most points scored for and against
D. Owens, Is this the game that the Gail that played tailback, was brought back onto the field to return a punt, and did so for a touchdown, after the second teamers had been playing for awhile. I know Coach Chancey and he would never do something like that, however Coach Meade liked to score his po...

Re: Trimble vs. Belpre - The new huge rivalry in the TVC Hocking
I know what the Cats could have done, glad they didn't. When beating someone into the ground wouldn't you be risking a season ending injury to a player, because some player on the other team takes a cheap shot. Like I stated, OUR Cats are going to win the division, our rival is Nelsonville. In the l...

Re: Trimble vs. Belpre - The new huge rivalry in the TVC Hocking
Whompascat, I was at the game, on your sideline, rooting for the same team you do. Point is that Southern is frequently beaten very bad by the Cats. I don't know is there a reason for this, two years ago, Miller and Eastern were just as bad as Southern and the beating was not that defined for those ...

Re: Trimble vs. Belpre - The new huge rivalry in the TVC Hocking
Can't argue with the current overall record, but give it some time and Coach Faires and the Cats will even it up. I wouldn't say this will be a huge rivalry, it seems that the majority of the tomcat faithful have too much fun poking fun at the Southern Tornadoes and using the scoreboard has an indic...

Re: TVC Ohio 2009-2010
The Vikings are the favorite, lets face it, the league is weak. Vinton County would compete in all the area leagues. Coach Combs does a good job of preparing his teams, they are well coached. Now, I do agree that sometimes their supporters get on this site and help to stir the pot, especially with t...

Re: TVC-Hocking 2009
Trimble will continue to win this division frequently, even in in years when the talent is down. Their ability to win is based upon tradition, talent, and community expectations. The players know that they need to be agressive, and it is a football minded community. Texastomcats stated in a previous...

I would heistate to say that a state runner-up is just as good as a state championship. But, everyone is entitled to their opinions, it is America. Good Luck to Coach Hale, an outstanding coach, leader, and role model. More importantly, best wishes to the students of our school district.

Wow, what a story! Let the push for a championship begin. Mr. Hale must do some work to catch up with Coach Persin. I wish the staff and students at Oak Hill High school the best, being from the community, I want the test scores to stay strong and keep putting academics first.

Re: Coach Boston Stays!!!!!!!!
Whompascat states that football is more important than doing the right thing, I recall the current head football coach at Trimble being dismissed by the superintendent and board of head because of conflicts in record keeping, scheduling, and other issues. The community of Glouster was ready to lynch...

Re: What has happened to the Trimble Lady Tomcats softball?
It sounds like the new coach has the Cats going in the right direction, the sophomore pitcher must be a hard thrower, also The Messenger article sounds like he is on top of his game when it comes to situations that occur during the heat of the game. I know last year the Cats had a good pitcher the w...

Re: What has happened to the Trimble Lady Tomcats softball?
Is the current head coach, the former jv coach? If so, I understand he could possibly set a school record for the most victories for any sport at Trimble High School. Does this record include football, basketball, etc? or only softball wins?

What has happened to the Trimble Lady Tomcats softball?
I know that there were some coaching changes during the past couple of years, but the closet was full of talent. I haven't seen much inofrmation about them and would like to know their record and how things are going.
Thanks
