Re: Bad Officials
Bad officials ruin the game? Or maybe it’s low-IQ, classless, peaked-in-high-school adults like yourself who ruin the game for kids. Quit living vicariously through 5th graders, grow and pair, and take the class.

It is not too long until the day that games cannot be played due to lack of officials.

Re: Letter to all- great read, and so true!!
Thank you to the men and women who put on the stripes, and spend countless hours away from your home/families to give the kids the ability to play basketball -- all the while dealing with severe verbal and sometimes physical abuse. I would love to see anybody on here talking down about officials try...

Re: Favorite Traditions During Basketball Season
I, too, enjoy PFloyd's rundowns of each game. I am excited for this season as I believe there is no clear-cut frontrunner in most of the conferences.

Re: Favorite Traditions During Basketball Season
Basketball season is my favorite time of the year, and a tradition of mine is to wear my Trojan polo shirt( I have a red one and a blue one) with all the years (15) we have made the state tournament. I used to wear a baseball style cap with the same info, but my head would get too hot so I gave the...

Favorite Traditions During Basketball Season
It is almost that special time of the year, where the round-ball gets tossed out and we enjoy what is Southern Ohio basketball. While I do love football, this is by far my favorite time of the year. What are some of your favorite traditions during basketball season? Not talking about a specific team...

Re: Refs officiating games from where they are Alumni
And not to beat a dead horse, but there is a desperate need for officials.
Everybody thinks we make out like bandits - failing to realize how far we travel, the gas money involved, the time spent away from home, the equipment we must buy on our own, and the abuse/scrutiny we put up with.

Re: Refs officiating games from where they are Alumni
Speaking as an official, most officials do not want to do games at their alma mater - not because they think they will be biased, but because fans are usually harder on them. You do not want to do a game where all you hear is "Cmon, Joe!" a thousand times a game. Calling out their name mak...
