I believe Fairfield lost to Meadowbrook last year 3-4 in the tournament.

If so, that means that both of these schools moved up from D4 to D3 this year which is impressive.

Sad, but teams that can at least compete start long before they get to High School. No interest or emphasis at the Pee Wee level. Never has been.

I am with Bama on this one. Sounds like a story of a gifted student-athlete who felt entitled until the heat got turned up, then thought they could just cut another check and repay the money and all is good. Rules are in place for a reason and it's not like they could claim "I didn't know"...

Whether stats are kept manually in a book or electronically, they are still subject to the interpretation of the person entering them. Just because they are electronic does not indicate that they are accurate. This is why stats are not important. Watch a game and you can pick out the difference make...

I am sure that all districts have the same problems at the HS level, not just SOC1. I think it is more quality players as a whole north of I-70, so northern teams are not relying on 1-2 players to carry a team.
