The Wellston Lady Rockets will be hosting a fall league. The cost is $75.00 per girl and games will be played on Sundays starting September 9th through October 14th, 2012. Each team will be guaranteed a total of 14 games. Girls in grades 9-12 are eligible. Teams will be limited to 8 players per team...

If a coach is ejected, its a two game suspension, a one hundred dollar fine and they have to complete a sportmanship class.

Western Latham 8th grade girls fell to Waverly in the first round of the Wellston Tournament. Symmes Valley lost a close one to Vinton County in the second round. Ironton seems to be the team to beat in the tournament.

This tournament has gotten better and better each year. Anybody looking for a tournament should really consider this one.

It's not about who Wellston has to play. It's about getting the respect and recognition they earned this year. They beat fairland head to head, and had a better record. I'm guessing there was some b.s. voting going on!!!
