When the talk of the "transfers" starts on one of these threads, Ironmen fans immediately start suggesting that it be left up to the OHSAA and not be discussed on a public forum, out of fear that the OHSAA may raise an eyebrow and conduct a home visit to one of their "transfers"...

Its apples and oranges. Jackson is D 3 playing the teams they should be playing and Oakhill is D5 playing the teams they should be playing. You are comparing them to a school your size. I find this funny. Not bash your statement, but its not hard to have a winning record with the teams they faced. Jackson faced a few times who had a hard season which includes logan that surprised me. But they proved themselves after beating Ironton "The greatest game I've ever witnessed" ...

Look ironmen football isn't all about beating wellston I see a great future for Jackson under head coach Andy hall. In two years he has lead the ironmen to an out right seoal championship. transfers are becoming just a part of the sports world. its a shame, but some times its inevitible because of jobs, etc etc etc. Its the transfers that are about the athletics that get me where it burns. Isnt school suppose to be about education.... before you people go off on me, this isnt a slap ...

I love it when people keeping bring up the Wellston game. Who plays in harder league? Harder division? Who was conference champs? who didnt go 4-6? Lets not forget who went to the playoffs and played real competion
