I was told that #10 (Bre Call) for Valley's 8th grade girls basketball was invited to the top 120 Ohio Girls Basketball Report showcase in April. Best of luck to her and representing southern Ohio! With over 200 D1 & D2 coaches in attendance watching two courts she should get a lot of exposure.

I've seen some good talent this year in 8th grade in SOC2. Some girls that can play varsity now #10 Valley, #2 Oaks, #10'minford, #25 clay and some that will have to spend a year at the JV level. One thing I have noticed the girls who don't pick a basketball up until season begins need to understand...

Lol the only thing I have to say is when you have a girl that is 14" than your tallest player you'll never get an over the back call if she grabs the ball way above the other players reach. That call will never happen! Agree officiating wasn't the best but they weren't the difference in the gam...
