Thurman had one goal with an excellent pass from Butler. Clark had the other. As for Burg scoring the last goal for Waverly...it was going in whether Burg touched it or not :( Pirates played an excellent game and have nothing to hang their heads about! This was a much better game than the last again...

In my opinion, I like the changes that was made last night in the game against Falcons. Pirates may have lost, but I am betting the stats will show they had more goal attempts.

I hear what you are all saying and agree the team is young. However, with that in mind, sometimes you have to switch up the strategy that you have used in the past in order to get the job done in the present. As for the stats on goal shots with Wavery having 39 and Burg 3...that kind of backs up wha...

The Pirates need to play more offense if they plan on actually scoring this season. It seems like at last nights game with Wavery they were just trying to keep the Tigers from racking up more goals than they did. It's good to try to keep the score low but Burg is never going to win a game without ha...

So not necessary I do believe they were just explaining how the record for Wheelersburg was determined.

According to the Ashalnd high school office, the JV game with Wheelersburg will be held at the high school field, approximately 1/2 mile past ACC, left at 3rd traffic light onto Berry street.

I am not a coach so dont "quote" me but I believe Wheelersburg JV remains undefeated. They are scheduled to play Oak Hill tonight and Ashland on Saturday. I would love to see more JV scores and info. Come on JV coaches and parents we are waiting.................
