There is a 8u coach pitch tourney in oak hill the weekend July 9th. There are 4 teams committed currently if interested contact Phil Kuhn 740 418 9016.

The Jackson Co Black Sox will be hosting a 8U coaches pitch tournament in Oak Hill. It will be held July 9, 10, 11 at the oak hill elementary fields. For information call Phil Kuhn 740 418 9016. We are looking for 12 teams to participate.

The referees set the tone early by letting the kids play the way they did, these guys had no clue this was going to be a battle. The Oaks will rely on their defense, one thing about playing great D is that it is consistent, unlike your O from time to time. The Oak Hill kids love to get after you on the Defensive end of the floor. Coach Persin has done a great job of convincing the kids that DEFENSE will win you games.

Fans from Oak Hill absolutely understand that D3 is tougher than D4, there's no question. But from the way it sounds maybe the OAKS shouldn't even show up for the sectional, because heck, they are already beat. The men from Oak Hill just find ways to compete and win no matter at what level, they are...
