The Burg team played very sloppy their first two games which were against Ironton. But it was also those girls first team playing with each other and it takes time to mesh together. It should have been a more competitive game with the talent Burg has on their time. Hopefully it will be a closer game...

Anyone have any news of this yet? I haven't bought a paper yet today to know if it's been posted yet.

So the game was today. I know some player that won honors team one didn't know about the game. Did you have to be a senior to play in it? Their coach didn't tell them anything.

Well after a good run all local teams are out of the race so how long will it be before the SOC and ALL District players will be in the paper?? The boys were in there yesterday and the Burg is going to state. I don't understand why theirs is released and the girls aren't?? I picked up a paper today ...

2 girls quit in two weeks can't ever remember a girl quiting the Wheelersburg Softball team.. Then M.Knapp states she is no longer pitching. Seems like there is a great divide amongst the girls this keeps up there will be more losses in the future.

I think the Soc 2 is up for grabs this year. The Burg doesn't have any strong pitching like in the past with Chaffin,Floyd, and Baker. Knapp throws decent but nothing great. East is going to be pretty tough this year. Williams on the mound, swords behind the plate, fisher @ 3rd, skaggs @ ss, Kammer @ 2nd, Lang @ 1st. Boggs @ CF.
