Clay plays Paint Valley at 11 am and Peebles plays the Fairfield/Southern winner at 1pm. Both games are Saturday at Minford.

Very good hitters up and down the lineup and solid pitching. Also, there's only one senior starter.

Clay beat Portsmouth 6-1.

Ohio Glory 01 is a good team that was out of Lancaster but is now out of Minford. They won GAPSS as a 14u team this summer. Most of the girls on the team are now from Scioto County. Not sure yet which tournaments for the fall, but may play friendlies in Waverly.

My daughter was a junior high pitcher and I always kept a pocket radar with me. What's been said on here is correct. 55 maybe 56 is about as high a pitching speed as I've timed at junior high level. High 40s very low 50s are the norm.

I've timed Faith Howard of Burg at 62 in a game.

The camp was well ran. My daughter enjoyed it.

Clay has a strong freshmen class coming in.
