At Jackson last night Colt Chapman ran a 54.6 400

Aaron Jones of the Jackson Boys team ran a 23.53 200 Tuesday at Jackson's home meet.

Jackson is looking really good so far throughout practices. A lot of new kids have come out and most are very athletic along with a bulk of Jackson's sprinters returning from last year. This should be a good year for them.

Jackson beat South Webster 5-0 after a couple of lightning delays.

I'd say Colt Chapman from Jackson is one of the top seniors in the area. He's been looking really good in summer league so far and I'm sure he will continue to grow stronger and get better as the season approaches.

Jackson's going to be good this year. I just hope the O line can step and be great.

Word around the halls of JHS is that McKinnis has the job locked up and it is to be announced tuesday. Everyone i have talked to is loving the thought of having him has our new coach.

Larry Jordan was asked to resign my the school and I know this to be true because he had a meeting with the players after their banquet and said he wanted to return but the school would not let. It was a touching speech.

I believe that Heath McKinnis is the right man for the jackson job. And from what ive heard many of the kids at Jackson want him to become the coach and would enjoy playing under him.

Jackson has two kids coming back in both the 4X200 and 4X100 and in the 200 and 100 Aaron jones is back in both. Salmons for jackson also isnt running this year and Mullins is running the 800 not the 400.
