Re: Meigs County Boys Basketball
Coach Davis was a big addition to Meigs ! Not only a great coach but he has a 6’7 son to add to the team. That definitely helps! ![😆](//twemoji.maxcdn.com/2/svg/1f606.svg)

Re: Crowd Conduct
Also Coaches can help diffuse the situation as well. Many coaches go bonkers over a call which feeds the crowd. Coaches that keep their cool and coach usually will drop the temperature of the situation.

Re: Fixing the OHSAA State Basketball Tournament
Trump needs to send DOGE into the Ohsaa and look at the unnecessary $$$ they spend or keep just to pay their incompetent staff.
OHSAA will never do what is right for the kids and the schools , only what they see fit to make them $$$$$

Re: Crowd Conduct
I think more schools and places hosting youth games and youth tournaments need to be more proactive than reactive with punishment clear and dry ahead of time. What are opinions on whoever is hosting say ahead of time, if you have a fan ejected for poor behavior it is an automatic team loss and that...

I had also heard the same, it's sad but true that both of the incidents did occur, and "AT ELEMETARY SCHOOL BASKETBALL". People wonder why there's not enough officials at all levels and in every sport anymore this why. It's not worth it for them having to put up with absolute nonsense. Ev...

Re: Crowd Conduct
There was a Waverly fan/parent ejected last night at Eastern Brown vs Waverly. I had not thought about it, but I cannot remember the last time I have seen this happen. Whatever the lady said the ref was VERY quick on the toss. The same lady was tossed 2 weeks ago at Waverly. If so, then the Lady ne...

I seen something very interesting at the Coal Grive at Ironton game on Saturday night. Coal Grove was down 16 at the half and down 18 early second half and slowly cutting into the tigers lead it was down to 13 and then with about a minute to go, Coal Grove had just cut it to 8 and it was getting lo...

64-55 SW Get that rat nosed welfare blue jeep outta here stupid post! Good game to watch. Small court makes it difficult for players to find spacing and opportunities. That is why there are a lot of fouls. I noticed the Blue Jeep Fans just cheer and really never got riled up like the Red Jeep Fans....

Re: Week 11 Jackson vs New Philadelphia
Jackson was all ready to go to Dover in week 11 but New Philadelphia beat Dover handily and bumped Jackson into the #8 seed. Gives our kids another home game they didn’t think they would have and saved our district a bunch of travel expenses. Was going to cost the band alone $3500. New Philly thoug...

Re: ACT/Tournament game conflict
Apparently the OHSAA has scheduled tournament games at the same time as the ACT is being given. Anyone know anything about that? That doesn't seem like a very scholastic thing to do! ACT Is on a Friday Night? Saturday Night? Doesn't sound right but if so, it is not the OHSAA 's fault. Football game...

Re: Week 2 Chesapeake (1-0) at Minford (0-1)
Chesapeake has some weapons and a big line. They also had a few starters out last week with covid, if they are back this week I’ll take Chesapeake. The panthers need to clean up their silly penalties, that is the same thing that has plagued them the last 5yrs. They are not disciplined on the field ...

Re: Ohio Shot Clock Shootout To Be Played In Late December
The only issues I can see or pushback from schools would be $$$ money to buy the clocks money to install the clocks money to maintain the clocks and probably the biggest one is money to operate or work the clocks. ( maybe these are volunteers but you will need an extra person at the table to run the...

Re: RIO Hires Football Coach
Why ? Because every coach thinks they can be the reason to coach something great ! It’s called coaching EGO. Then after a year or two reality sets in.MetalheadGamer87 wrote: Mon Jun 17, 2024 11:14 am Watched coach Wilson in high school, WVU and in the NFL. Why would he take on such a task? Really tough sell if you ask me.
