New coach. Hopefully an upgrade there to stay. Word is not a lot of boys coming out. I hear they are working hard though. Thoughts on Coach Jeffers and the season?

Really? Great choice. He seemed to be very helpful as an assistant. He had a great season in the summer with these boys. What's Coach Eddy doing now?

This is an interesting turn of events. I bet they just have someone else in line. It wouldn't make sense if they didn't. I wish coach Eddy the best.

Well, I hope coach has a plan for the offseason. I think he has already been hired back. I am not a parent, but I care for RV sports in general.

Redeagle, it seems like Coach Eddy is a nice guy, but I just feel like working on fundamentals is more important than running. Also, he played two freshmen on varsity all season. What about the older kids who have been there? I know the program needs rebuilt, but that doesn't mean that the freshmen ...

I don't know his record. I just want RV to be successful. So mtswngrvsg, do you think 5 wins this year was a success? Do you think if a veteran coach got into the district that they should get the job? I just dont think coach Eddy is the guy.

That's the problem. It's always about giving chances at RV until coaches leave having had little success. The Raiders need somebody who can get it done now. In all sports.

RV finished with 5 wins. Would anyone say this was a success? I don't think Coach Eddy is the right man to turn this program around. They should have won more games this year with their talent. I say they still need a good veteran coach next year, or at least one who knows how to win.

I hope. But I hear the coach likes to run them too much in practice. He also takes too many risks on the bases.

I heard RV is not very good this year and their coach is new. How did this happen?

Gallia is prolly embarrased after losing to a school with one of the worst baseball programs in the state!!! They barely beat them the first game too!!!!!

Wow!!!!!!! Has RV ever beat Gallia in baseball!!!! Either Gallia is down or RV has improved. Did they play good or did the Devils play bad?

When does RV open and who do they play? Where is the preview at in the tribune?

Nice to hear that someone with ties to the school will be taking over. What is his name? I haven't heard this yet. I still thought that Coach Mellor and Coach Mazza were still coaching again this year.

Should be an excellent game, and I hope the Raiders can pull it off, but they gotta play under control.

So................ I guess nobody really knows anything? What about the coach? Who is it and where did he come from?

What about the RV squad? Hear they have a new coach? Does anybody know about this guy or know what key players are back this season? Sure hope they can put together a decent year.
