Wellston will be well prepared for Friday night and go to Oak Hill 2-1. I don't see too many teams being able to slow Wellston's rushing game like Minford did last Friday.

I believe we just witnessed a new era emerging for the Wellston Rockets.

The big o-lineman for the Tigers looked good. I believe #76. Decent on the defensive side of the ball but excellent on offense. #33 has a nose for the ball too. Great game to watch. Too bad they all aren't this exciting.

I know it has nothing to do with this thread, but how did Zane Trace look in the Wellston scrimmage? I was not able to go. ZT had some big kids. They showed a few "bright" moments. Their defense struggled against the run a little bit. Osborne and Miller both had a good outing for Wellston...

Wellston is heading in the right direction. Good coaches, kids, and community behind them. I believe Wellston vs. Jackson will be a great game this year.
