Re: Has the three pointer killed basketball?
I think the three point shot should be out lawed at the grade school level. I think that is where it is hurting shooting skills. Kids aren't strong enough to shoot a three at that level with any form on their shot. Go to a grade school game and watch kids warm up they stand behind the three point l...

Re: Has the three pointer killed basketball?
Its like anything in life, u have fat old white guys making the rules for kids that have no idea the game is way faster and played above the rim. The old generation has destroyed the college game. Virginia is embarrassing to watch . Wow I thought Virginia was a 2015 team. The Virginia team I watche...

Has the three pointer killed basketball?
Looking at several of the scores I see most teams scoring in the forties or even thirties these days. Years ago most teams scored in the seventies and eighties. I would even see the century mark broken occasionally. I can't help but wonder if the three pointer has killed offenses. Today you see play...

ESPN and the Buckeyes
The NCAA recognizes the Buckeyes have seven National Championships but yet ESPN continues to say they only have five. Why is it that ESPN doesn't want to recognize what the NCAA does? Why don't one of the former Buckeyes working for ESPN set the record straight?

Not exactly a score fest? Justice almost averages 35 by himself. How many does he have?

If you are scoring 5 points in an entire ball game it is hard to blame anyone but yourselves.

Re: (1) Southern vs. (8) South Webster 2/25
Looks like a lot of children on this site? Don't really have a clue what they are talking about? To talk about the actual game I can't believe that South Webster was seeded this low. I wonder if the coaches doing the seeding actually watch the teams they are seeding? I really think South Webster wil...

Re: Coaches have no true friends do they?
I guess we have came full circle now. I have read on here parents or players complaining about coaching and now we have a coach complaining about parents and players. I don't like either. Airing problems on a public forum is not going to solve anyone's problems.

Re: Bullying in the NFL
Players aren't the only ones the NFL are bullying. Just ask the people from Cincinnati, Indianapolis and Green Bay. The NFL makes about 9 billion dollars of tax free money off their fans. The fans of these cities were told to either sell out their games or they would be blacked out. Naturally some b...

Re: Refs at Convo
I have been watching high school basketball for the last 25 plus years. I have noticed the difference between the "old days," if you will, and today. But, I believe it to be a combination of things. First, today's athlete is a lot stronger and a lot faster, so the tendency for games to be...

Re: Refs at Convo
In Northern Kentucky, officials are being ordered to call at least 40 fouls per game or else they are reprimanded...they are making an attempt to clean up the game. You might as well go watch a game of checkers. How can you order someone to call a certain amount of fouls? Are they ordering what tea...

Re: 2012-13 AP ALL SOUTHEAST DISTRICT TEAMS
It also appears that you have only two small examples to give, both of whom attend/attended Peebles. So in other words, if Peebles doesn't get exactly what you think they should have, anything and everything else is automatically better. Solid venting. 1. The AP vote is distributed only to daily new...

Re: Meigs basketball Convo
Blizzard is the TVC site wrong? Who else did they beat with a winning record in the regular season besides Nelsonville? Is Federal Hocking not who they beat in the tournament? Is federal Hocking in the Hocking? Is federal Hocking DIII? Were there only two teams in the Hocking with winning records? A...

Re: Meigs basketball Convo
I have got to take Oak Hill in this one. I looked on the TVC website and Meigs only beat one team with a winning record all season. The team they beat in the tournament had a winning record but played in the Hocking where there was only two teams with winning records and they were both DIII teams p...

Re: 3/04/13 - Eastern Meigs (5) vs Notre Dame (1)
ND will press. Last season they continued to press South Gallia when it wasnt working and lost. The Convo floor is BIG and more difficult to full court trap effectively IMHO. Titans by 15. Looking at their draw, if ND is ever to win a District Title, it is this year. It couldnt be any easier with S...
