Re: Week 6 (1-4)Waverly@ (5-0)Valley
From what iv heard, Starting Quarterback Trevon Bolin-Hitchens, Fullback/LInebacker Tyler Dray, Wide Reciever/DB Paul Underwood, Center/Dl Koty Anderson, and Running back/DB Amin Gilbert are all suspended for the tigers 1st SOC game. All i can say is best of luck to the luck tigers..

It sounds like the kid who cleans 4930lbs should work on his football skills, fairland must be a state champions this year to beat a kid that strong...

Re: Weight Rooms 2012
I would pay some serious money to see a kid clean 340. if doesnt win gold in the next summer olympics then somthing is wrong. I know of a waverly kid cleaning 265 and its pretty impressive to see. But i was claiming that there is no bench press on the 50yrd line. because somtimes it take more than s...

Re: Weight Rooms 2012
The tigers up front are just flat out not being physical enough, if they dont change that we wont win many games. Our LB/Secondary need to get to the ball sooner and faster. Other than that i didnt see many problems with tigers as a team on saturday

Re: Weight Rooms 2012
Theres no bench press on the 50yrd line boys. Games are gonna be won from now until august... I find it very hard to believe that any team in southern ohio is out working the Waverly tigers. The things Coach Crabtree has those boys doing should be done by college football players, its very impressiv...

Re: waverly football 2012
With all do respect guys, quarterbacks dont play quarterbacks. Quarterbacks play defenses.... So why does it matter if hes faster than every QB in the SOC? Oh wait it doesnt..

Re: waverly football 2012
Dray and Gilbert were just sophmores you expect them to start RB, Murray was very immature last year and hard headed, hopefully this year he relizes he cant be that way. And taylors going to college to play RB. That must tell you somthing? Yes Pearl is a long shot but anything helps. And for our rec...

Re: waverly football 2012
RB's Dillon Murray, Tyler Dray, Adam Pearl, Brian Cydrus, Devon Rigsby, Travis Welch, Amin Gilbert. If one those backs doesnt fit then we shouldnt even try to run the ball WR's Paul Underwood, Eric Rinehart... We only have two main recievers, passing this season will be hard.So Get your facts straigh...

Re: waverly football 2012
corcoran was injured more than he played, so alot wont be lost with him. ward did make a huge impact but waverly has plenty of backs to make up for him. And yes everyone knows knight was arguably one of the best linemen in soc, but there stronger than last year so we will just have to see..

Re: waverly football 2012
I see, the junior class should be playing like seniors with the experience they have, the more you think about all the pieces this team has the more you should feel like team really could do somthing great this year

Re: Weight Rooms 2012
From what I'v heard Coach Crabtree will have this waverly team the strongest its been in years. Several o-linemen will have a 300 bench by the season. Including Tyler Kirby,Koty Anderson, Otto Jarvis, John Caid. Even though the tigers are losing jake Knight they will have a stronger overall o-line t...

Re: waverly football 2012
All these are true, but leadership is very important to be a good team. Anybody taken that role yet? The leaders in the past for this waverly team have went on to do great things. Trevor Walls, Derek Roback, Jake Knight in the past few years. Whos next?

Re: 2012 playoff teams?
True, 5-5 would be great but the 2013 seniors have had enough losing in there career. I think there willing to give anything for a winning season.

Re: Who takes the SOC this year?
Everybody talks about Burg, Valley and West. IMO being the underdog is somtimes better for players knowing they have nothing to lose. Waverly has a true shot at winning SOC. They are stronger overall than last year, just as fast as ever, Good QB. More mature and will end up having 10+ 3yr varsity pl...
