Re: November 17, 2023 Sheridan 7 - 14 Steubenville

Based on what I was told by my buddy who was actually charting penalties, the ball was marked on the backside of the 20. The stick was on the 19. Officials looked at it and declared it short. Culver asked for a measurment since it was less than a yard and the measurment was granted. However, the cha...

Re: November 17, 2023 Sheridan 7 - 14 Steubenville

Spoke to a person on the sideline about the delay. The chain crew moved the sticks before the officials were able to measure. Sheridan coach requested measurement, so the chains had to be reset to measure.

From my understanding, Ryan Ohlaker (sp.?), McClain JV coach, will be the next Adena coach.

Re: Offseason Rumblings

The McClain situation is a complete s**t show. AD gives the head coach a great evaluation and then the Board steps in and says we're going in a different direction. If the Board doesn't trust the AD's recommendation, then maybe they should remove the AD as well. None of this surprises me based on th...

Re: Scott Aronhalt (Zanesville) retires after 31 years

Aronhalt is a fantastic coach. Loved watching the Blue Devils dive across the floor to finish their pregame warm-up.

What has happened there? Talent pool must be pretty low.

Re: Jackson @ Hillsboro 1/22

I would say they're playing well because they have won 5 games in a row. Fairfield taking them to OT may have been a situation where the Indians thought they could walk in the gym and dominate a county rival. Didn't happen. I like the Indians by 10-15. IMO, they will have the two best players on the...

Re: Jackson @ Waverly 1/20

Great game to watch, but I felt like I was sitting behind two angry parents they way the Waverly announcers were hollering at the officials!!

Both teams gonna be a tough out come tourney time.

Re: Coaching Vacancies 2020-2021

A real good candidate will be/has applied for the Wellston job. Do tell? Took a team to the Convo within the past 14 months, young...would be excellent While the coach you speak of may be a great coach, it doesn't take much to win 1 tournament game to get to the Convo. It's a fantastic place to pla...

Re: Trimble vs Grandview.

Grandview's strength of schedule will play a factor as well. They are in a war night in and night out in their league. I see GH as a 15-20 point winner as well.

Adena coach does a phenomenal job with his guys. Man for man they have no where close to the talent of ZT.

Somebody needs to remind Lucas Davenport his team just beat MT on a tip in at the buzzer. There's never anything ugly about a tourney win.

Took one team to Rio and would NEVER go back. Players/Officials were checking phones and eating as they were officiating. I understand they're college kids, but it was embarrasing.

Re: River Valley Job Opening

You build a program by developing your youth and building numbers. You keep some type of consistency with your middle school program (same coaches, teach fundamentals, run same O and D). Schools like River Valley are going to fluctuate in talent year to year, so they need to rely on their program in...
