In watching West against Burg, I think the QB'S biggest problem was indecisiveness. He throws well and seems to see the field well. I really hate to say it but I think this is the end of a good season for West. I think it will be a game that will mirror the Burg game, JM will shut down Hurd and force the QB to make plays. He is the difference maker for them IMO. He tends make a lot of bad decisions, throwing (when he should run)...

There is no way this game goes to Hamilton Township. Logan and Athens would be my guess.

A lot of talent will be on the field Friday night! I’m sure Burg will look real close at the London and Bloom-Carrol games as well as the Union Local game if available? Should be a good test for Burg. Hoping for this one to be close to home. Good Luck Burg!

I was told No cannon and No Train horns, West will Not be able to use theirs neither per OHSAA game manager.

What type of field does Martins Ferry play on...grass or turf? Does a grass field that may be a sloppy muddy mess favor one team over the other? I believe that this is going to be a very competitive game with West surviving to play in week 12. Home games are turf but nearly all away games on grass!...

The OHSAA isn’t allowing the cannon, but they will have to allow the running clock!!! LOL
