Ironton returns almost the entire team from last season

How do you think this region looks this year.

I’m not sure. Just heard there’s already a few that’s moved in. Can’t wait to watch the Tigers play this year.

Itown returns 18 starters led by Carrico, Salyers and Fosson. Also hearing there will be some new faces on the field this year.

There should be over 70 kids on the roster next year. Might be the biggest roster in the history of the school.

I would think Ironton is the youngest team in D5 this year that made the playoffs. So I would think they would be one of the favorites to make a run next year. Ironton returns 17 starters on O and D plus both kickers. Have to replace 2 lineman, and TE on offense 1 LB, and Corner on D... Majority of starters were sophomores. Ironton will only have 3-4 guys playing both ways nex year so the depth will be as good as it’s been in 15 years.

I told you the regional championship was played week 11. I can’t wait for next season. Ironton is going to be tough to handle.


Great job JM... You were very good and deserved to win the region this year.

Ironton has a sophomore RB that has Division 1 potential. JM held him to 130 yds. He rushed for close to 1500 on season.

The region 19 championship was played week 11 between Johnstown and Ironton. LOL, Yeah right the #1 vs #8 6-4 team was the championship game.
