Re: Eastern Job
Yes, Lakiem accepted the position. Happy for him getting a shot at HC but really saddened he won’t be coaching for the orange & black. Lakiem was a huge asset at Waverly and will be missed. Best of luck to Coach Lakiem. Eastern Pike has an excellent tradition and have had some very solid coache...

Re: Head Coaching Vacancies
For all of those who are questioning why Tom Barrick decided to resign from Eastern Pike: I believe that this decision is based upon family. Not sure how many people know this, but his wife has had severe heart issues over the past 15+ years. She has had several open heart surgeries and valve repla...

Re: Ironton boys basketball job?
I am shocked that Fitch applied for this job . But if he did, unless Persin, barrick , combs , Stiverson , Maddox , or some other 300+ game winner applied , I’m not sure who would have applied that would be better applicant or had more success over time ? I’ve had family play for him and watched his...

Re: Head Coaching Vacancies
I remember Williams being an excellent player for eastern and piketon. I also know he coached out of the area. Anyone know what kind of success he had ? Record ? Tourney success ?
Best of luck to Williams and the Indians. Hopefully western can keep him there.

Re: Head Coaching Vacancies
Coach Fitch has resigned at Western. Have not heard any leads as to who is interested in this job. I would say it would be a great opportunity for someone wanting to put in the time to develop a young team. Good look to the Indians on finding their next coach. Coach PJ Fitch is an outstanding coach...

Re: Covo 3/1 8:00PM Jackson v Warren
I rarely disagree with Ironmans posts , but I thought the refs were consistent , but overall allowed it to be way to physical in the paint . “ Allow the players to determine the game “. is what you always here . I almost look at it the other way that by letting all contact go the officials is almost...

Re: Evan Legg Steps Down From Piketon
Was shocked to see this on Preps. I don't see Barrick or Persin applying or being a good fit. Of those mentioned, I would guess: 1. Miller would be an obvious choice as an alumni and good basketball mind. But, there is probably some bad blood from his time at Western. 2. I think Fitch makes a lot o...

I agree but I will take Peebles by 3bbjunky81 wrote: Thu Feb 28, 2019 9:00 am Two young, well coached teams. I think Peebles has the best overall player in Browning, while Trimble has an edge in physicality. Neither have a real threat in the post.
I think Trimble wins but it's definitely a 50/50 game.

Peebles 39

Congrats White Oak. This was a very fun game to watch! Green really had a chance to close it out in the 4th but it slipped away. Both teams were very evenly matched.

Congrats to West Union. I went to Jackson to watch the games there. I knew the Indians would likely not win this game with Humprheys gone and Brewster playing on a horrible sprain.
