Actually, the SHAC does do POY now. Have for at least several years now.

Fairfield 60- Manchester 49. Greyhounds hung tough. Manchester played hard and probably shot over 60%. For the first time this year I'm going to complain about the officials. She's an excellent passer and the stats show it. In high school I felt at times she was too unselfish. She could have scored far more than she did if she wanted.
