Re: WK 11: Gallia Academy (9-1) @ Waverly (8-2)
Wow, what happened? Oh, maybe Gallia needs to play a tougher schedule to get ready for the playoffs! It maybe nice to beat up on losing teams all year but when they play a good team, they seem to have a little problem. Saw the Gallipolis/Ironton game and they were outplayed and outcoached the entire...

Re: G.O.W. WK9 Ironton @ Gallia Academy (OVC Chip)
Waverly was in the league years ago, that was always a long trip on a weeknight for basketball game.MisterGalliaGuy2016 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2019 9:35 pm I'd say Athens is the outlier as they'd never leave the TVC anyway.
GA
Ironton
Portsmouth
Jackson
Chilly
Logan
Maybe try to add Burg or Waverly

Re: G.O.W. WK9 Ironton @ Gallia Academy (OVC Chip)
Maybe Gallia should not have left the SEOAL where they had some competition. When you beat up on teams with losing records then come up against a good team, you are going to have a hard time. SEOAL was a dying league. Portsmouth and Athens both left before GA, if memory serves. PTown might have lef...

I wonder when the last time a team put 52 up on a Gallia team?

Re: WK9 Athens @ River Valley
What is even funnier and sadly ironic is that Athens and Logan: 1. take pot shots at each other 2. take pride in beating much smaller schools 3. cant beat anyone their size or bigger 4. and lack the cajoneys to put together a league with each other as members... Gentlemen, the TVC is in severe deca...

Re: High School Hammer
My son is a college throwing coach and he said he thought there were some in the Cincinnati area and possibly around Cedarville but couldn't remember which high school. I was hoping there would be someone on here that could give me some school and I could make some phone calls. I believe John Glenn ...

Re: High School Hammer
Indoor weight throw is very different from hammer. I know about the one at the state meet but have been told that the athlete has to have a mark from a high school meet. My athlete has been throwing hammer for 4 years and competing in the summer programs through the USATF but not sure if those marks...

High School Hammer
Are there any high schools in southeastern Ohio that have any meets with Hammer throws? I have a thrower who is wanting to compete in some meets with hammer throw.

Re: Old SEOAL-Boys
It had to be after 2001 when my youngest son graduated from Gallia Academy. The distance to Zanesville from most of the SEOAL school would have been terrible since there is no good way to get there. Whoever decided it was a good thing to let Zanesville in the league obviously didn't consider travel ...

Re: Old SEOAL-Boys
Just wondering when Zanesville was in the SEOAL? I don't ever remember them being in the SEOAL. I do remember Wellston, Nelsonville, River Valley, Meigs being in the SEOAL at one time but never Zanesville.

Trying to listen to the game on the radio but the coverage is terrible. The commercials are coming through clear but the play by play is terrible.

Re: Region 15 #7 Licking Valley @ #2 Gallia Academy
I cannot believe that this game will be played in Jackson. Not only taking away the home field advantage but people need to remember one thing. The last time Gallipolis was in the playoffs they won their first game at home because of a muddy, wet field because they knew how to play in the mud and th...

As much as I hate to say this, I look for VC to win this one. From what I've seen this year, all the weight lifting hasn't helped with playing the game. Fundamental have not been taught to this team, without fundamentals having strength from weight lifting is worthless. RV need to get back to basic...

Weber from River Valley threw 142'10 1/2" at the Fairland meet. That is no longer showing on the Discus list. http://www.baumspage.com/track/fairland/inv/2018/2018%20Results.htm MileSplit doesn't have Bidwell River Valley listed. Weber won the Warren Local Meet 141'8" http://www.baumspage....
