Why all the negativity ? No one can dispute that the 16 team format is money driven and creates an abundance of early round mismatches but I would think the players and coaches of the 9-16 seeds aren't too disappointed to be playing playoff football.

Brown's are pretty stout on D but with Watson behind center and Stankowski as General they are still heartbreakers...Not going anywhere with those two....imo

Don't sleep on the Rebels....they played Reedsville Eastern tooth and nail until Eastern pulled away late..game was much closely contested than the final score indicated. I think this game can go either way by less than a score....

The Meigs faithful can be thankful that they have River Valley on their schedule...two very woeful programs currently.....

Very unfortunate but its a growing trend with many leagues now scheduling Thursday and Saturday games so they can get officials...... trying to recruit and retain sports officials is a monumental task for the states and the local associations.

In agreement that it's a societal issue that's not going away. You can also tie in the lack of sports Officials to this as well to an extent.....

I think the Eastern Eagles take this one....Coach Jackson has done a great job with this program and will have them ready.

Gotta feel for the RV faithful...Hopefully Coach Cooper can keep them chopping wood and get the program turned around.

Meigs will probably lose to VC and NY, beat RV with Athens, Wellston, Alex and Marietta being 50-50 games for them. 5- 5 at best for a typical Meigs season.

A solid victory for obviously what is a very good GAHS team...Ironton will decide if they are a legit contender.

Honestly, with the current opposite directions of those two programs you should be thankful that they wouldn't be in the same division.

With installing the new turf Meigs has one of the nicest facilities in the area. It just seems as if they struggle to be competitive against quality opponents. Hope they can get it turned around.

Maybe sometimes we just need to appreciate things for what the are. As long as the facility is deemed safe of course for players, fans and staff.
