Tri Valley/Sheridan

Fun game to watch. Tri valley could not run the ball. Their passing game was great though. Sheridan could not run either. Tri valley just had more playmakers.

MVL should raid the LCL right now. Heath, Lakewood, Licking Valley, and Zanesville. Watkins and Licking Heights will be Div. 1 in a couple of years.

I look for Heath, Lakewood, and Licking Valley to want in down the road. Once Watkins, licking heights, Johnstown, and Granville get “too big”. Although, I think Lakewood and Valley are going to see growth also.

Sheridan was not helped by the really bad foul trouble . Many starters taking turns on the bench.

A number of the LCL schools are going to “outgrow” the LCL. Tri valley is fine where they are. Look for some LCL teams to defect to the MVL when some of the other schools grow to D2 & D1.

Sheridan loves the competition and rivalry with Tri Valley…….would hate to see them leave. They are going nowhere. However, Crooksville should beg the TVC to take them.

Very good high school football game. Pretty even teams again this year. Yards were pretty even. Wallace, the TV running back was the difference. I said it last year after I watched them play at sheridan…..they need a coach with discipline but that also means the community needs to be patient because there were so many renegades on that team that discipline would not go over too well. If I were a coach you couldn’t pay me enough to take that ...

Woah…..Certainly remains to be seen how good this Sheridan team is. Some of you have definitely gotten a little over the top. They beat a bad Licking Valley team and an average Watkins team.

Gee. After watching the storied rivals recap I’ll say two things. Sheridan blew it………and the generals got screwed in a few different ways. But there’s always next year. Sigh.

Yep, really a shame, Sheridan choked a bit, referees helped with that late, and the last bucket shouldn’t have counted………..Can’t see any way Sheridan wins in OT the way things were going but you never know.

Interesting situation if he leaves. Do you hire a guy with discipline and upset that apple cart, or do you hire a guy that allows a continuation of the “renegade” attitude ? I’d go with discipline and prepare to be a little patient
