Re: 2025 Season(Boys)

I'm still shocked Minford was taken from D2 down to D5. They always seemed like a school the size of Wheelersburg to me I don't know why. I know people think the divisions are "watered down" but I personally don't mind it. All the usual characters were in district championships this past f...

2025 Season(Boys)

As the weather changes and we (hopefully) start to see some warmer weather I figured id spark up some soccer conversation for the summer and fall on the boys side of things. I think this year we get CB changes, are there any teams that might be moving divisions? I know with the expansion some were c...

Re: Tournament Predictions

As much as I pull for the SHAC in soccer I really don’t see the game between peebles and Minford being close… it would take a big off night on Minfords part and a perfect game for Peebles to compete. It’s the tournament and anything can happen I suppose.

Tournament Predictions

Tourney time is almost upon us, I only really follow D5 so what would be everyone's predictions for seeds? I think it should be fairly straightforward.

Minford
Lynchburg
South Webster have been the most impressive this season.

any potential surprises that could happen?

Re: SE District Top 10 (WK 5)

Hard not to have Lynchburg in any top 5 for D5. only losses are to some very good opponents. Outside of the top 6 teams in that division its not the greatest.

Next level of that would be teams like Peake, Peebles Belpre, Eastern Brown and probably like a whiteoak based off records I've seen.

Re: D5 Records

Does belpre need any games? I’ve seen a few more towards adams and highland county that are in need of some. Would be a haul either way to play.

Is there no longer a coaches poll this year? always like seeing them posted on social media. Might do a top ten for D5 here soon.

D5 Records

How are teams doing on the boys side of things? I know most years we have a list of records in a thread. Seems like a lot of D5 teams have solid records so far.

Re: 5 Divisions?

I knew I was forgetting a team! Yes division 5 should be fairly competitive. I know SW is stacked but I do not know much about what those other teams have gained or lost.

Re: 5 Divisions?

D4 looks very good. Excited to see how the new divisions play out this fall. Does anyone know if they will move to the RPI stuff like they did basketball this past winter? I know the OHSAA was thinking about it already.

Re: 5 Divisions?

Boys D5 looks like it could be competitive.

Minford, SW probably clear favorites

Then you have Valley, NW, North Adams, Lynchburg and Peebles, and St. Joe rounding out the contenders.

D4 looks stacked with talent. Burg, south Point, Alex, Unioto just to name a few.
