Did coaches have any say? Seems like this would have been great for small schools that don't have the pitching staffs that the big schools have. Especially with the new pitching rule.

No question it will be packed and I understand the pride the boys have playing on that field..I agree with 93 though. Could have been a much larger gate somewhere else.

I've talked to three people tonight that said they weren't going to the game now. Hard to bunt when you're down a bunch of runs and it's hard to bunt against really good teams like Marietta. I think Meigs was just outmatched regardless of who pitched for them.

Does it matter who was winning after 5? Adena got to hit in the 6th.. Logan was the home team and was winning in the bottom of the 6th.. They are the winners, correct?

This is going to be an exciting sectional. Hope every team is at their best and no injuries. Should be fun.

Great work by Athens to be so successful without having Sano on the hill. If he's healthy to pitch in the post season, this team could go far. A fresh arm in the playoffs is big.
