How does OHSAA determine the Home vs Away teams? Cinn Moeller, Kirtland and Marion local are also away teams for the state game

LC is a run heavy team that only passed the ball 4x vs SR. I think Ironton can load the box and stop the run and let CB Johnson & CB Terry be on islands the whole game and then let FS Mullins cover the middle and get his 7th INT of the year

I heard 3 have officially left and another one might be going. lineman, RB and WR.

Why don’t minford put the Montgomery kid at RB? He’s easily the fastest and most athletic kid on the football team

Ironton had 48 Offensive snaps. I counted 2-3 snaps that was arguably bad (high or low) but the QB still was able to catch the ball cleanly. I was impressed with the Ironton coaching adjustments in the 2nd half. Burg had all the momentum going into the 2nd half and Burg never threatened offensively in the 2nd half.

Minford 8th grade is one of the best complete teams I’ve seen at the jr high level. I would also add Fairland 8th and Ironton 8th both have some great talent. I believe the Fairland 8th grade group beat Minford 8th in a state tournament game a few years ago.

Risner was close of breaking Minford’s all purpose yards record

8th grade Valley / Minford game was the biggest upset of the tournament. Metzler for Valley got into foul trouble early and Valley couldn’t get any rhythm going. Hats off to Minford they came to play
