SJ tied it up. Headed to OT.

What are your thoughts on this matchup? I know that Peebles is suppose to be the team to beat, but the Flyers looked really good last night.

I’ve got SJ in a close one. The Flyers have shown they play up or down to the level of competition they face. They have the grit to pull out wins in a close game. Flyers by 2 in a game that comes down to the last second!

Flyers were down 16 to Symmes Valley tonight heading into the fourth and ended up winning in OT 85-81. A tough team.

Was the final of this game really 1-0??? If so could someone tell me how this happened?

I know that St. Joe beat Valley in the SOC preview, so I’m not sure how Valley has developed but I believe SJ has developed well. Saint Joe has a club team due to a lack of numbers. They typically bring up a few fifth and sixth graders to fill out the roster. Typically a pretty solid team.

This should be the more competitive game of the 2 on Thursday. I think Burg is playing well right now and will advance 3-1. Flyers looked very strong against North Adams, especially the back line. The defense should be returning starting centerback Max Weber, which would make them an even tougher unit and add depth. I think this will be a tight game. 1-0 Flyers.

Anyone have any thoughts on this game? I don’t know much about North Adams, but the Flyers are a solid team.

The news coming out of the SOC meeting today is that Clay has forfeited 7 games due to the use of an ineligible player. At least one of these games was in conference play. This will result in Clay being moved down to 2nd place and St. Joe is now the SOC 1 soccer champion. Thanks for the information!

Heard that Clay played with ineligible players and has to forfeit several games. Any truth to this, and if so who is the SOC1 Champ?
