I also heard Alan Preston was returning. Also, heard some of the locals that were on his staff the first time are returning, but not sure who he hires to replace the 5 coaches that stayed in Columbus.FACSPORTS wrote: Fri Feb 14, 2025 12:53 am Did Chuck bring back anyone from his first stint? Any guys from Eversons staff? Any new faces?

Re: Washington court house football
I think the hire was fine but I was not fond of the interview....blaming others instead of just saying I made a mistake I should have never left. Also saying "thought I could take the next step" I would argue WCH is a better program than Marion Harding. It's hard to emphasize loyalty on t...

Re: Washington court house football
Always going to be haters to nit pick and hold grudges. It amazes me that some of these players never came to anything until late summer or in August and they expected to start. Then their parents want to be mad at the coach, instead of not holding their son accountable. Either get on board for the ...

Re: Washington court house football
Pretty impressive that it was unanimous 5-0 decision. The off the field discipline the administration overlook shouldn't penalize the HC on the field. If they balk at discipline, I'm not penalizing the player. They need to do their jobs, they are his boss. On the field discipline is a fine line of ...

Re: Washington court house football
Head coaching position is a done deal and it's not Greenfield's offensive coordinator. Familiar face back in WCH if my sources are correct. They do have 2 people but, one was offered. You are correct Fayette_Panther1963. They are working out a contract deal. If that falls through they will go to #2.

I can tell you 100 % if you don't want Coach Williamson back I would make your voices heard. They're either desperate or someone is lying because a few members at the school have reached out to him to discuss the opening. From my understanding, he is willing to listen. I have heard there have been ...

Re: Game report:Westland 48 Delaware 28
Westland received three transfers that OHSAA approved after paperwork, addresses and some who had home visits conducted. The majority other than those three "meaningful" transfers, the team is all returning players from last year's team. Plus the competitive level did change when the OCC r...

No need to cry, stating facts as you want to call it, and your wrong again Jose. I am neither Chuck nor related, just a guy who is close to the community, follows my Blue Lions and close with a school board member. Let's hope this newer Admin group can control things in the school. If your not going...

Re: Washington court house football
It amazes me that jose it once again blaming a past coaching staff. That staff won games, not to mention I think 6-1 versus the rival, scheduled games they could compete in and win except maybe the Westerville North game that wasn't a smart pick up. Help student-athletes go on college visits, take ...

Re: FAC 2024
Yea, I agree. Jackson will run away with the FAC and make a run in playoffs. I would be shocked if they don't. Trace may compete with them but, won't beat them. WCHS will be down if not below .500. They lost a lot and their All State mention RB/DB left and going back to Columbus area.

Re: Washington Court House Football needs help BAD!!
This is the reason you will never get good coaches back at WCH. There is not much outside support, limited parent support, and people of the community not supporting the program, but want to bad mouth it and bring it down. These kids have enough negativity day in and day out, how about supporting wh...

Re: Washington Court House Football needs help BAD!!
I would agree the out of conference was difficult, but they are far from young. I see a lot of returning starters that are juniors and seniors. QB is young with experience. The OLine all are returning lettermen, several returning defensive starters. They don't want to play for this new head coach an...

Re: Washington Court House Football
That is much better for sure. Looking at their schedule next season, they don't have an easy game. Especially opening up with London, Western Brown, and Marion Franklin team that has a high profile D-1 player. That is just weeks one, two, and three. Then their league play with Jackson, Chillicothe, ...
Re: FAC 2023
Wearing helmets in May? I believe he and his staff didn't pass out equipment until June 1st as he did every year at WCH. Plus, AD Phipps was very good about stopping out at practice or following up with football. The Superintendent I heard was even stopping out at practices a few times. A lot of sch...
Re: FAC 2023
Are any of the players going into town and lifting at Courthouse or over at the YMCA? Only having 5 to 8 players isn't building any team chemistry or not having your new HC go to any weight lifting sessions doesn't sound like a good start. Past few years they would at least have 15 to 20 upper class...

Re: Washington Court House Football
Any news yet on the process or hiring, it has been at least two weeks since the posting came down? Are they at least down to finalists yet? I'm hearing that no one is lifting and that is not good for the program because you win games in the off season.

Re: Post season interview with Head Coach George W Yates Columbus South
Congratulations to Coach Yates and his staff. It takes more than the Head Coach to win this award. Columbus South indeed plays a majority of their games on Thursday due to officiating conflicts. I have spoken to Coach Yates personally about this topic.
