Re: Warren vs. Miami Trace Prediction Thread
Miami Trace is talented and undefeated yes, but the Warriors have dudes who have been in games like this numerous times. Warren could be playing the Miami Heat tonight and I'd still pick em. Warren - 65 / Miami Trace - 58. GO BIG BLUE!!!!

Re: DIII SE/East District
Lotta loser talk coming from Marietta on this thread... It’s pretty standard at this point honestly. They still are trying to evade the negative culture. With that being said I’ve been impressed with them the last two years but they just proved how impressive Maddox and co have been over the last 2...

Re: Meigs @ Warren 1/24
Welcome to big boy ball, Meigs. Refs this, refs that, doesn't matter. Warriors by double digits. Gotta be deflating for Meigs to come in undefeated and get ran out of the gym. You’re just lucky Meigs didn’t pony up enough to get Howie to take that job. Else them refs would have been giving Meigs al...

Re: Warren Coaching Job
Don't think anyone is denying the revolving door at head coach is bad and not sustainable for a program. With that being said, the days of going 0-10 with majority of those games being running clocks are gone. We just went 7-3 with a league title (don't care that it is only 4 teams). Let's celebrat...

Re: Warren Coaching Job
Warren Football doesn’t exactly have the winning tradition pedigree for there to be a pool of football genius alumni living in the community. The memory of winless seasons should still be fresh for many— Payton ruffled some feathers and Kimes was also short-lived, but their combined short tenures a...

Re: Warren Coaching Job
The comment above is not a knock of the hiring process or Steve/Board by any means. I believe Steve has done a great job hiring coaches, but at the time restarting every couple years makes it very tough to build and sustain success. Agreed. And at some point, you're gonna hire a guy that may not be...

Re: Top Coaches for Top Job
If that’s the case, Marietta must not have gotten many applicants. I don’t know Jimmy Bell personally and certainly don’t know the entire circumstances he saw at Belpre, but they were among the worst teams in the state during his short tenure with points scored/allowed. I know being a former Buckey...

Re: Top Coaches for Top Job
He’d fit in even better at Warren. Imagine how good they could be with a D1 guy on that staff. Imagine posting what you just said. Pure drivel. I said what I said. He’d put that staff over the top. Best team in Washington County and add a D1 guy? Lights out! There’s a chance they could do better th...

Re: Top Coaches for Top Job
:?: Athens in 2014 played good teams outside the TVC like Warren and beat them 69-6. Also beat Steubenville, Gallia, and Zanesville. Pretty good “out of conference” schedule. Keep trying. Hahaha Yeah they beat everyone that bad that year, bud, regardless of who the opponent was. Not sure that's the...
