Re: Anticipated Coaching Vacancies for 2022
I am hearing that Brad Smith is out at Westfall. Again just a rumor, I haven't seen anything official. Brad is a good guy. Westfall is a tough gig right now. Look for Trent Williamson to take over if he wants it. If Trent takes the Westfall job his dad will follow and join his staff. Look for the W...

Re: Anticipated Coaching Vacancies for 2022
To each his own. We all have opinions. The next coach at Huntington should be Spencer Smith. And yes Smith will do just as good of a job or I will say better then Keller.

Re: Anticipated Coaching Vacancies for 2022
Scott Keller is one of the best football coaches in the SVC will be disappointed to see him leave Huntington huge fan of Coach and think he is a great leader of young men. I have always like Coach and have a ton of respect for him Same. Huntington will not replace Coach Keller with someone better. ...

Re: Week 6: Washington CH (2-2) @ McClain (4-0)
From what I have heard.. ALL players for Washington are back as of today. Glad to see McClain succeeding. The league is better when teams are winning games. This is the oldest rivalry in the FAC and according to an article a few years back the 3rd oldest in the entire state of Ohio. Should be a goo...

Re: Rating Coaches in Ross and Pike county
Have to give coach Hoops a shout out. Anybody who can be the head coach of football and basketball in this day and age gets my respect. If the U needs a baseball coach I'm sure he's qualified. I think coach Keller at Huntington does more with less every year. A lot of new coaches in the SVC. Chilli...

Re: WK3 Miami Trace - McClain
There will be no showdown with the Ironmen. Jackson can beat Miami Trace by 60 or more if they choose. If they are 3-0 next week its because they have beat three not very good teams.countywide35 wrote: Wed Sep 09, 2020 8:01 pm Trace.......they continue to build up a showdown with the Ironmen.....

Anyone can coach when they have great talent. Wish the Huntsmen luck but Coach Dye can pick the score!RShifko wrote: Sun Sep 06, 2020 10:17 am Paint Valley big. It’s tough because Keller is one of the best coaches in Southern Ohio but Huntington just can’t match up. PV will win this one big

Re: Wk 2.....Jackson @ Greenfield McLain
Can’t do anything about that this year. games with Tha Burg , Licking Valley, Will be missed but all involved is thankful we just have a season to play. I agree...the league is really down this year. I think Miami Trace is probably a close second with chillicothe Miami Trace has benefited tremendou...

Re: Wk 1 Unioto v Piketon
Piketon didn't look that good against McClain in the scrimmage. I think this game will be closer then people think. McClain is greatly improved but I would have thought Piketon would have had there way with them. It was the complete opposite.

Re: Paint Valley Football Coach
Mostly when I’m doing fact checks. Which is something the hiring committee clearly didn’t do. Like the fact that of those 36 wins that Dye has in 7 seasons, only 4 were against an opponent with a record above .500. Or the fact that while Preston was head coach at Huntington, he had an impressive 6-...

I have heard he is bring Johny Enochs from WCH and Alan Preston from Miami Trace with him. I saw them at the coaching clinic together in Columbus this weekend.

Re: Paint Valley Football Coach
I agree. Give coach Dye a chance and see how he does. I guarantee he is coming to win. I know he will bump up the weight room and the off season training. I believe he is full aware of the tradition at PV and will do nothing to harm that.
