Athens was just going through the motions and didn’t show a whole lot. I think they will be fine when the meaningful games start next week.

Hope he can at least get the county schools in before week 1. Miss the old Messenger days when Tom Metters was running the h.s. sports dept. Kevin Wiseman did an outstanding job and so did Arkley. I’m thinking this guy will do a pretty good job.

It’d be really nice if the parents didn’t have to shell out a bundle of money for their athletes to play in this game. It’s nothing more than a money making scheme. Good luck to both players.

Doesn’t sound like the new coach at Trimble is turning things around quite like she had anticipated.
