Re: North Adams Copas Era Closed
I would say Coach Rob Beucler (SHL all league in 80' i believe), and his sons RJ, and Brett would be in the conversation. Final 4 trip, and both had college careers .

Re: Pfloyd's Elite 8 of Southern/SouthEast Ohio-Preseason 2024-25
There is my missing detail!!! only arguably the best defender in the Southest with a pretty 3 ball and nice ball handling skills. Sheesh...I knew I was leaving someone out. But seriously, this team is MAJORLY loaded. So much quality, experience, and depth.

Re: Pfloyd's Elite 8 of Southern/SouthEast Ohio-Preseason 2024-25
Here is some pre-season info on Eastern Brown, since we are way out west in the Southest..😁. They return most of their starters from last year's team. This is a VERY talented group of team players top to bottom. They will feature Kade Walkup as a shooting guard as their most experienced player at 4 ...

Re: 3/3 Convo updates and chatter
Burg and Southpoint shot horrifically from the line. Portsmouth horrible from line. I have not seen Northwest play yet, but knew they were good. Linz(sp?) Is the difference. Draining free throws and leading. Just a huge game from him! So impressed.

Re: 3/3 Convo updates and chatter
Last week at Waverly, South Point was 11/24 from the line. More of the same at critical moments. Burg looked to almost run out of gas. Hard fought game!

Re: Rivalries in the SE
Sorry for delayed response, but the costumes in question was dressing in Bib overalls bare footed, and the girls dressed up like pregnant teenagers( with pillows and all). Not an urban legend..it happened, I was present. For gosh sakes we are 20ish minutes from the Eastern suburbs of Cincinnati. It ...

Re: 3/3 North Adams v Ironton
I am going to wade into this and opine. I detect some some barely concealed overlooking at best, disrespect at worst toward this North Adams team. I agree that NA's Achilles heel will be matching up up with a 6-4 plus athletic, fast big man. However...this is a team that has a style and scheme that ...

Re: Rivalries in the SE
Still today. Eastern Brown vs Georgetown is an intense rivalry. It isn't as bitter and heated as it used to be. Georgetown left the SHAC for the Southern Buckeye in the 90's. But the games still bring the angst. Eastern and North Adams is the best rivalry now...but its unique. The players, fans, and...

Fairland over Eastern Brown 64-61. It was an epic battle. Allen caught fire and ended up with 24 I think. Fairland had a 6 or 7 point lead with about 55 seconds to go. The final 55 seconds was an intense battle. A Fairland 3 with in final 10 seconds was the difference.

Eastern Brown 25-Fairland 23 at half. The Warriors held Fairland to 8 points at the end of first quarter. The Dragons heated up before half cutting an 11 point lead to 2. This has been a good one!

Re: Pfloyd's Elite 8 of Southern/SouthEast Ohio - Week #10
Fairland is hitting the road to come to Eastern Brown tomorrow night. It should be a good one! Coach Beucler, in my opinion, has done one of his best coaching jobs ever(and that is saying something). The Warriors had a terrible year last year after graduating the talent and heart of he team. There w...

Eastern Brown's Coach Rob Beucler gets 450th Win
Congratulations to Coach Rob Beucler on his 450th win last night! Coach Beucler's Warriors defeated West Union in the SHAC match up. I can attest that he is an amazing coach, teacher, father, and person. There are too many accomplishments to list, so congrats on this milestone!

Re: Pfloyd's Elite 8 of Southern/SouthEast Ohio - Week #4
I was there! What made this game even more shocking was Eastern's double figures avg. Scorer Grady Barber was out with a foot/ ankle injury. It was a very entertaining game, but Eastern's rebounding and defense frustrated Hillsboro's high powered scoring offense.and quality bench minutes really swun...

Re: Pfloyd's Elite 8 of Southern/SouthEast Ohio - Preseason 22-23
I was at the SHAC preview at Peebles High School Friday night. I will briefly mention Fayetteville and Ripley since they are still In the Southwest. Fayetteville is a big team and will make noise in D4. Ripley struggled mightily and might be in for a long year. Lynchburg-Clay had a nice showing agai...

Re: District Championship …Trimble vs Western. Updates
I can speak to this as an Eastern Brown parent/alum. The past 5 years Coach Beucler has tried to do this. The last two years especially. The SHAC at times can be top heavy, with a slew of not very good teams at bottom, but you have to play them twice. This year they scheduled Fairland, Peake, Norway...

Re: Eastern Brown vs South Point @ Districts
If Huntley is at full strength, I will take Eastern 56-49 in regulation. Hoopie,my sources are telling me He is improving, He isn't under any risk of shoulder damage, or worsening it structurally. It is one of those pain tolerance kind of things. Also Hoopie, I am very skeptical of the bracket seed...

Re: District Semi: Leesburg Fairfield vs Willow Wood Symmes Valley
I have not seen Symmes Valley, but I have seen Fairfield. They are a disciplined, well coached team, who will shoot the lights out. They are infinitely patient on offense. This will be a great game I am sure!
