2021 team will be better offAMERICANFLAG wrote: Fri Nov 20, 2020 10:00 am GA loses a lot of players this year. Looks like a complete rebuild for the Devils, they look to have limited depth on line but they have plenty of solid young skill kids

Re: Gallia Academy 2021
I think the ‘21 team can compete with everyone in the OVC, with the exception of Ironton. ‘22/‘23 seasons this team should be competing for a OVC championship and a nice playoff run. Organization, preparedness ,intensity, and discipline definitely needs addressed in the off-season. Seems most of the...

Re: 2021 Too Early Rankings
Wheelersburg IMO is gonna have to make a change in style offensively. They don't have a proven quarterback and their best returning players are backs (Lattimore, Swords, Williams). Waverly will be good, but teams will have a much easier time covering 2 receivers than 4, and has been said there is n...

Re: RD2: Vinton County (4-3) @ Gailia Academy (5-1)
Must not be. I’m watching the one where as mentioned earlier, coaches, players and parents calling out plays and whose is getting the ball while we are in our pre-snap count. I guess that’s not predictable. GAHS version of RPO is either handing off to 3 or throwing a hitch that’s nearly picked off b...

Re: RD2: Vinton County (4-3) @ Gailia Academy (5-1)
I don't know if coaches are coming back or not but sure hope they do. This staff is 23-5 over the last 3 years, I think. That includes losses to d5 runner up and Licking Valley who went deep in the playoffs. The play calling may look a predictable, but actually it is called RPO so not sure how that...

Re: RD2: Vinton County (4-3) @ Gailia Academy (5-1)
Couldn’t have been said any better...... Thanks. (Yeah, I've seen Gallipolis play for 50 some odd years off and on and they've had better line play over those years with guys in the 160-225 lb.. range than they've had over the last few years with these kids going 250-330 lbs. Just my observations.)...

Re: RD2: Vinton County (4-3) @ Gailia Academy (5-1)
I’m sure GA coaches will find a way to make this game close. Undisciplined penalties and poor QB play will continue.

Logan or whoever can have Penrod. Very little coaching from him.Raider6309 wrote: Sun Oct 11, 2020 11:54 amGallia did screw him over. Hired a coach that went 5-15 at Huntington over him. i live in the county but you do know that it's gallipolis right. when the county schools took their kids back home from grade school football the demise started of midget league and not long after that any player that was half decent put on a purple and gold shirt and the dad was now an assistant e...

Re: October 2, 2020 Portsmouth - Gallia Academy
They've got a freshman on defense who looks like he might be something special. The freshman class as a whole looks impressive. Freshmen shouldn't play on Friday nights, that's what JV games are for. I do not care what grade a player is in best player should play period. It is very rare that you ha...

Re: WK5 Gallia Academy - Fairland
Gallia showed good resolve last week stopping Wellston in the red zone 3 times. But take away the penalties and the game would have been decided at halftime. Waaaaay too many dumb penalties once again and unforced turnovers. Worse yet, we committed defensive penalties giving Wellston multiple first...

Re: WK3 Gallia Academy - Rock Hill
Top 10 Gallia team all time not a chance but a solid team who should win out. 10 D1 prospects? We all know the one tackle who is a SR has over 10 D1 offers on the table so that is one. The running back has to get his testing in order I think he will get 1-2 offers somewhere. the other tackle will g...

Re: WK3 Gallia Academy - Rock Hill
Cant agree more. Big time players, make big time plays, in big time games. Our top players have not shown up over the years in these type of games. Your best player on defense is a freshmen in Cole Hines, that's a shame when you have 15 seniors on this team. The season is over, start building for t...

Re: WK3 Gallia Academy - Rock Hill
Not that hard to understand gallia... Everyone says they have plenty of talent, some believe we have 4-6 players getting D-1 looks.. My question would be where are these players come game time? The talent needs to step up, yes ironton is the class of southern Ohio, but if gallia is really that tale...
