Re: Will Unioto leave the SVC?
Unioto will be / has been approached about joining the other 6 teams for a big svc division. If th do so decline then the other schools will start a brand new conference and seek to add a few teams. It is Unioto right to decline this offer . That is what's happening now . Nothing more nothing less ...

Re: Will Unioto leave the SVC?
Chillicothe gazette article leads us to believe that we won't be seeing a change in the SVC in the next year or so. The Gazette reporter done a great job of pointing out that Chillicothe has been in 3 different leagues in the past 10 years. Stability must be taken into consideration when making suc...

Re: Will Unioto leave the SVC?
Rumblings out of Chillicothe is any discussion is very preliminary and nothing is remotely close. I think this move makes a lot of sense, so that means it will not happen. While there are some schools who would support it, there are still a few "old guard" members who will fight it. If it ...

Re: Chillicothe Coach Gary Kellough Steps Down
More like withdrew to save face, since they weren't going to get the job. You are incorrect here. I know Combs declined to interview a second time and he was asked to come back for a second interview. I think Lisath and Combs probably decided they were happy where they were. I don't think it was an...

This is who I thought would get the position after the list of candidates came out. You are correct in saying we shall see.peytonhillis wrote:I think you're going to see Andrew Meister, the former Newark Catholic coach become the new leader of Chillicothe. We shall see, though.

Solid list of candidates. I think it will come down to Lisath, Combs, and Meister. I know Meister worked wonders at Newark Catholic.

Re: Chillicothe Coach Gary Kellough Steps Down
I don't know if "disrespectful" is the right word, but it was certainly careless. It appears that many of these individuals are still employed at other places so they could probably do without all the attention before the interviews even take place. I do agree with Sid on the point of why...

Re: Chillicothe Coach Gary Kellough Steps Down
Why would they want stiverson? He had his chance here once. And I won't go by combs record while coaching V C. They always played a very soft schedule. But whoever they get. Will they get along with the new AD ? As. Much as I like Garin as a person., he is making no friends through coaches or stude...

Re: Chillicothe Coach Gary Kellough Steps Down
Heard this one is already a done deal. Matt Combs will be taking over as the Cavs coach next year. It has been long rumored the the boe had a short list of candidates for when Coach Kellough stepped down and that Combs, while on the list, is not at the top. They will put on a full court press for S...

All BOE meetings are open to the public and you can request a copy of all applications. Those are public records.OSU 77 wrote:I wonder if it will be open to the public? I would like to heard who the list of Coaches that applied for the job and their qualifications.

Re: MSL realignment
Chillicothe to the SCOL would be a good move, IMO. That puts them with similar sized schools and competitive opponents as well. Actually it would hurt the overall competition schedule. Football and girls basketball would be a wash. Boys basketball would have their competition lowered. It would be a...

Re: Week 4: Chillicothe (0-3) @ Athens (3-0)
What is the deal with this senior QB. Was he injured or something? ERRONEOUSLY declared ineligible by the new administration in the middle of 2-a-days. After an appeal to OHSAA it was determined he should have been eligible all along was what my family down south told me. This is one of the many in...
