Only thing I can figure is they know they can’t go undefeated if they schedule teams they can’t beat, but they don’t want to come out and say that so they used the turf excuse.

NY players better tape up their ankles really good for this one. That field is like a cow pasture. Also, don’t expect to get any calls. I still think NY will be too much and will get the win though. But Waterford will play hard and there’s never any quit in them.

Alexander will be down by 14 before they even step off the bus. But it won’t matter because Wellston is just better than them.

It was proven when we were there that success can be had at Alexander. But we didn’t accept anything less. Keep mommy and daddy out of it and find a quality coach and you’ll get there again eventually.

Everyone that is saying Fort Frye is too far away and Oak Hill should be added needs to realize something. Oak Hill is about as far away from Nelsonville-York as Fort Frye is from Vinton County. Almost equal distance. If distance is to be an issue, Oak Hill has no more merit to join than Fort Frye....
